I so love the design of this lamp! I kept it for 20 years in my basement before re-wiring and putting it to use. It originally belonged to my Great Aunt. I am thrilled to finally get to use it! It matches in color to the other accents in the room. The table was made by my cousins husband. It is the perfect size for the space.

In addition to the candles, flashlights and a battery lantern, we also lit one oil lamp to light up the house.

I was fascinated by the patterns and colors of the lamps on sale at one of the stalls in the Spice Market in Istanbul.

I have another photo like this that was taken on my digital, but this is black and white film and i love the shadows that the wall adds, the texture of the fabric, shape and contrast.

Gray "driftwood" style plaster/chalk base with textured fiberglas shade.

i like it, because it is minimalistic, aesthetical, and the form is very simple, and what is more i like the reflection from the polished paper.x-)
