bedroom lamp: 3 years old, originally $135.00; asking $30.00; matches bedskirt and gold mirror perfectly!

The shadow of a lamp post due to its own light. Taken from the side away from the light on adjacent grass. The red line is the tail light of a passing car, long exposure used. A bit of fun!

It looks like the moon.

About 8 years ago I knocked over a room divider and it shattered the wooden hand-made lamp shade. The craftsman who made the original shade finally got around to making the replacement a few weeks ago. It is smaller than the original, but looks good.

this reminds me of the presence of spiritual presence: the light inside the lamp maybe is present always but you can see it only in the dark
