Last August, me and my daughter joined our local Scott Kelby World Wide Phot Walk in Oxford. It was a very hot day. Spotted this a few moments before we had to retire early due to heat exhaustion. My timing was spot on. Clicked the shutter just as the couple reached the Keep Clear road markings. A bonus was that they both looked in through the doorway of Merton (?) College at the same time.
Lately, we've been doing a bit more birdwatching than usual due to the appearance of a juvenile Rose breasted Grosbeak a few weeks ago.
Here is one of the most recent RBG's to show up. A lovely female who has been here for a few days. About a week ago we had a second juvenile male and female, was prepared to post a shot of them but then this beauty showed up!
They are migrating their way through our area, and we keep hoping an adult male will show up, but it's always exciting to have these birds visiting regardless. Who knows, if they keep on coming, maybe one of those stragglers will be a male.
This is the first picture of my first blog! I hope you guys like it.

“This tower, patched unevenly with black ivy, arose like a mutilated finger from among the fists of knuckled masonry and pointed blasphemously at heaven. At night the owls made of it an echoing throat; by day it stood voiceless and cast its long shadow.”

Finally a build, I've had this one sitting on my desk for a while and had some free time today so here it is. Other than this I hope to get 12.3 up for the 253rd, it would be up sooner but I just haven't had the inspiration.
Anyway thanks for viewing!

the winter is briefly back and looking out the window, I thought to myself that this does not suit me at all and I no longer need snow :-(
Then I pulled up the shutter of our terrace and my little ants full of snow smiled at me!!!!
That's life! keep smiling
The Brambling, this beautiful winter visitor finally got in front of my lens and then sat down so beautifully.

One of the things to always have around in a blackout is candles. These are the safe ones that are battery operated so no fire was used in this photo. Keep lots of batteries on hand too!

Sometimes you really have to take a step back and allow the universe do its thing. I have learnt to not fight it.. to go with the flow, take the ups with the downs and still push through because it will always work out in the end. Stay positive and keep it moving 💕
BTW - Still learning PS and loving the journey, still a long way to go but will keep going
