I think this pigeon will need lots more cleaning to make itself more presentable.

« There is a silence surrounding me….Keep talking… » Un hommage à Pink Floyd. Keep Talking is a "redux" of an image called "Where is the party?", published in 2011. These empty chairs projected on a menacing sky always fascinated me and I believe that the 2011 version did not communicate all that is felt in front of this scene. This new version was inspired by the music of Pink Floyd and is named as one of their songs in the album The Division Bell (1994). This album deals with the difficulty of communication among people. I hope I managed to illustrate the theme. "There is a silence surrounding me. . . Keep talking . . . ". A tribute to Pink Floyd. (Patrice)

When the modeling agencies keep calling, but you'd rather be a dirty farm dog posing in the weeds.

It was a great night playing at long exposures, but as the light faded filters weren't needed as there was so little light. I loved the backwash caused by the breaking waves. The sense of movement added to a great sunset sky. Keep on moving is by Bob Marley and the Wailers on my playlist.

Keep going is what I said to Lewis yesterday when we were making our way back ~ it was maybe too long a walk but we both enjoyed being out in the fresh air!

Stay Safe and Healthy Everyone!

Thanks to everyone who views this photo, adds a note, leaves a comment and of course BIG thanks to anyone who chooses to favourite my photo .... Thanks to you all!

XD

Altho they're getting bigger & more independant, the 3 youngsters - Bonnie (black, 11 months), Eddie (tabby, 6 months) & Charlie (tuxedo, 6 months) - have discovered that sleeping in a heap is a good way to keep warm.

...the weather will be better soon... (;-)) !

This is done in-camera. It's not a post-editing effect or anything like that. I used a 10-stop ND so that I could get a pretty long exposure. I think the first 5 seconds were still, and for the rest of the time, I used the camera as a paintbrush, moving it up and down.

I have this shot on my desktop background right now (16:9 ratio is meant for my screen) and it looks quite nice.

There's almost more dogs here than people. Which is fine. I've nothing against them. But when you're walking home at night and keep stepping in shite...There's some excuse for this woman. She's got two lots of shite to clean up and maybe she did when she got the dogs. But nobody sees after dark and the other dog lovers aren't bothering anyway.

Westie truck driver is on the road again and is keep on truckin

Prompt: A whimsical Pixar-style 3D illustration of a West Highland White Terrier puppy sitting confidently in the driver’s seat of a semi-truck cab, viewed from the side through the open window of a bright blue semi-truck. The Westie wears a black trucker hat that reads "Keep on Truckin'" in bold white letters, along with cool black sunglasses and a slightly oversized white t-shirt with the word "Trucker" written across the front in a playful font.

The Westie has a serious, focused expression as it grips the large steering wheel with its fluffy front paws, mimicking a human driving posture. Its ears stick out from under the hat, and the texture of its fur is soft, fluffy, and highly detailed in the signature Pixar style. The window frame of the truck cab adds a dynamic framing element.

The truck interior is lightly stylized with fun, colorful dashboard details, and the exterior is a shiny blue, with smooth highlights and soft shadows under a bright daylight sky. The overall mood is playful and humorous, with a vibrant color palette and charming, exaggerated cartoon proportions that bring the Westie’s character to life.

Narin Castle, Meybod, Yazd, Iran

March 2010

The mud-brick Narin castle or keep in Meybod Yazd dates back to the Parthian era in Iran some 2000 years ago. This ancient castle has been constructed on top of the Galeen hill overlooking the town of Meybod. It is constructed in 4 levels and stands 40m high. The upper floors of the building, seen here, have been reconstructed in the Islamic era.
