I've shot this old log cabin from every angle, in every season, from many different distances and I never get tired of it. I think though that this photo may be the only one where I shot the fence and didn't focus on the cabin at all.
With Melbourne having 34 degrees before 7am and 44 degrees C forecast I hope you can keep cool today and we don't have power blackouts. Best viewed large to see the iridescent swamp bluet ( I think thanks Dave). Blue Lotus Watergarden.

I don't do many ICM shots, but this one had it's charm, especially the nettle shadow that I managed to keep without smearing. A single exposure with a bit of movement.
Good morning all my wonderful friends .I will be back later to comment on your beautiful photos . I am going to Physical Therapy for my neck and shoulder .I have been going 3 times a week and that is why I haven't been able to comment on all your photos .I will get to all of you soon .

Been trying to keep my spirits up. Suffering real cabin fever, I took quite a whack on the stairs and I think it will be a couple of weeks before I can move around freely without swearing.
But it was cheery today seeing a picture of my 90 year old mother having a go at bowling from her wheelchair in the care home lounge having joined the "I've been vaccinated" gang.
So heres to moving around in the future. Without any restrictions!

Finaly summer is here. Its about time,I was allmost in a sort of depression ;-) after a hot day ( wich I also spend in a little pool in the garden between work) its great to cool down with a nice icecream wich made me get this photo out of archive. Cool colours,cool thinking

Winter, the day is almost over, close to the sunset, the shadows are long, and a solitary bench, under some oaks, invites me to take some rest. But wait! The Sky is glorious today, the clouds are dense and we are close to sunset, then, no way.
