Lately, we've been doing a bit more birdwatching than usual due to the appearance of a juvenile Rose breasted Grosbeak a few weeks ago.
Here is one of the most recent RBG's to show up. A lovely female who has been here for a few days. About a week ago we had a second juvenile male and female, was prepared to post a shot of them but then this beauty showed up!
They are migrating their way through our area, and we keep hoping an adult male will show up, but it's always exciting to have these birds visiting regardless. Who knows, if they keep on coming, maybe one of those stragglers will be a male.
The video shows the storm better than this photo but "Keep on Dashing" doesn't allow videos. So I posted a video to my own photostream here on Flickr.

By this time we were down in Kingaroy where a local transport company was muralised (my new word). Looks like the perspective at the front end is a little askew, blame it on those rough country roads!
I like the play on words for this title, taken from The Crystal Method's Vegas album.

Narin Castle, Meybod, Yazd, Iran

The mud-brick Narin castle or keep in Meybod Yazd dates back to the Parthian era in Iran some 2000 years ago. This ancient castle has been constructed on top of the Galeen hill overlooking the town of Meybod. It is constructed in 4 levels and stands 40m high. The upper floors of the building, seen here, have been reconstructed in the Islamic era.

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. It’s not really a thing over here in Germany.
I first wanted to post this picture in color but I wasn’t feeling it. Depression is running me over at the moment. It’s hard to keep up with anything. But since I missed out on so many themes before I wanted to do I really needed to do this one.
Not much people know about my depression cuz usually I’m hiding it behind my fake smiling face. I’m pretty good at that.
I deeply wanted to apologize to everyone commenting on my pictures for the lack at getting back to you. That bothers me a lot because I really appreciate all your comments.
