The 2000 mini series Random Passage was shot in New Bonaventure on the Bonavista Peninsula. The set was initially abandoned but when people started to visit it on their own, the town began to maintain the site and offers guided tours.

Opposite of welcoming

We broke in the new car with a return to Robin's parents' house to get all the stuff we'd left in the old car. On the way back, we detoured through Ohio and stopped at Hopewell Culture National Historical Park.

In an alternate universe without dead Hondas, I would have spent tomorrow visiting Yosemite for the first time ever, and maybe climbing a granite dome. In this universe, I spent today not climbing little mounds three feet high.
