Keep on rolling - The iconic view across Loch Scavaig from Elgol towards the dramatic Black Cuillin.
Some superb late light catching the rocks on the shoreline as the incoming high tide rolls in, just in front of the now legendary 'beachball'.

New camera, new country! I was in Switzerland for the first time in my life, this time newly equipped with a Sony a7R V. Ooh, ahh, etc. My file sizes are now stupidly big and Lightroom struggles with the RAW files, but I appreciate the quality upgrade and some of the QOL updates are so welcomed.
So, yes, Switzerland! Specifically this was taken when the two of us were standing in the snow, in Leysin. When we booked the trip I was hoping to encounter some snow but it snowed constantly the entire time. In an effort to still get some photos of the pretty town, we put on our multiple layers and stepped out into the cold.

These chaps keep on raiding our feeder in our little front garden so I made this one to be pigeon proof. No chance, the sit on the tiny perch meant for small birds and reach through.
