I love the tate modern and everytime I'm in there I feel like I get a new surge of energy to be more creative!
(and I also dream that maybe one day I'll have a photo in there..)
Keep on rolling - The iconic view across Loch Scavaig from Elgol towards the dramatic Black Cuillin.
Some superb late light catching the rocks on the shoreline as the incoming high tide rolls in, just in front of the now legendary 'beachball'.

A scruffy blue pickup bumps along the road,
Its bed overflowing with a bright, blooming load.
Pastel eggs shimmer between petals and stems,
While bunnies peek out like soft little gems.
Its dents and dings glow with springtime delight,
A wandering basket of wonder in softly glowing light.

Nearly every year I pop a photo of my Bottlebrush plant on Flickr, but that's because it's one of my favourites in my garden! It's usually buzzing, as it attracts so many bees - shame I'm not very good at getting a shot of them, but they won't keep still!
Thank you so much for your visits, favs, awards and comments. I really appreciate it and really appreciate it!
please excuse my absence from your photostreams... I had lots of family here for my niece's wedding on the weekend and we were very wrapped up in chatting!!! and eating ..and...relaxing...and just having good old family fun!
Have an awesome week everyone!
I wish you and your loved ones peace, health and happiness in the New Year. Happy Holidays, whichever one or ones you might celebrate. I'll be thinking a lot about those I've personally lost this year. I'm hoping 2021 is a better year, even a good year, for you and me. Christmas is a hopeful time. Be well!
Not because there are thorns. And also not because this iron sculpture of the 1970s is rough and rusty. It is because recognition will not happen if you get much closer. If you zoom in much further, you will not recognise the face. You will see structure, texture, bright and dark areas, but not a face. Some things can only be recognised from a distance. Its going to have to be archived shots now. A misty Wareham back in July.
Been trying to keep my spirits up. Suffering real cabin fever, I took quite a whack on the stairs and I think it will be a couple of weeks before I can move around freely without swearing.
But it was cheery today seeing a picture of my 90 year old mother having a go at bowling from her wheelchair in the care home lounge having joined the "I've been vaccinated" gang.
So heres to moving around in the future. Without any restrictions!
