A warning sign in Vlaanderen, Belguim. This land used to be a military training ground and full of of old bunkers from WWII. I think it is now a nature reserve hence the sign.

Coming into downtown Nassau I spotted this art piece I really liked. Wish the fence wasn't there to do some interesting portraits.

A set of the four different 1.5" pinback button badge designed by Zippy Pins for Keep the Fleece using their logo. Zippy Pins donated 1000 pins to be given away at the New York State Sheep & Wool Festival held in Rhinebeck, October 2009. During the festival, volunteers assembled the world's longest natural fiber scarf from the mountain of packages received from around the globe. Creating the individual scarves was a year long effort by groups of knitters who donated $1 for every row they knit on a scarf. Money raised through their efforts was being donated to Heifer International to help build the largest fiber flock in the world.

Dedicated to Derrion Albert, the 16 year old teen beaten to death in a turf brawl in Chicago's Roseland neighborhood (in front of the Agape Community Center on W. 111th Street) on September 24, 2009. Derrion was an innocent bystander, an honor student, and had no involvement with the gangs involved. He was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time.
