The Dragon Keep was a stout medieval fortress built on top of a mountain. The soldiers at the Dragon Keep were humanity's last line of defense against the approaching dragons and their soulless riders.
Yorkshire beat Durham comfortably enough, to keep up their title challenge, but here - against Somerset at Headingley - Tim found himself fighting a lone battle, 38* in a first innings total of 145.
Yorkshire never recovered, Jack Leach took 6 for 64 in the second innings, and our lads went into the final game at Lord's needing to win.
Bresnan's 142* gave Yorkshire a chance, but the breakthrough was not made. Declaration-bowling was employed, but the run-chase was too stiff, and Middlesex took the title, ahead of a rightly disgruntled Somerset. Yorkshire were third.
Brezzy in the 2016 Championship had played 11 matches, scoring 722 runs at 48.13 and 31 wickets at 30.12 apiece.
