Debating starting a 365 again....got to the 80's last time and I feel as if my pictures were getting better then when I stopped it was a giant road block for my creative juices to flow when all I was shooting for summer was senior portraits. It's awful working and going to school and trying to complete this project though, I don't know how people do it! Let me know what you guys think :)

Old used-to-be-red Chevy pickup parked near Zuni and Monroe, across from Highland High School (my alma mater), Albuquerque, New Mexico.

I've been wanting to photograph this truck for a long time. Since I need a truck picture for the February Scavenger Hunt (which I may not get done, all things considered) I did some test pictures. I had to photograph it through a fence. Next time I photograph it, I'll take a zoom lens.

It kind of feels like me, right now. But at least I can still move, which it can't, at least not without some major work.

My life currently is mostly a matter of trying to "keep on truckin"

Abandoned shack i found, another shot taking during my lunch break. Shot of the structure from outside below, I ignored the sign a guess.

I had fun prowling the sidelines again and photographing my son's former high school lacrosse. It brought back lots of memories of his time at TJ Lacrosse.

Hubs grabbed this while I was making dinner.

"Choosing one path means abandoning others - if you try to follow every possible path you will end up following none."

~Paulo Coelho

I've been hanging on to that quote for so long and finally found something for it. I'm not even sure I believe it anymore. I think there's wisdom in having the humility to know it's time to change paths. Being committed to a path is one thing, being so stubborn to stay on a path that is no longer right for you is another.

Either way, Paulo Coelho wrote one of my favorite books called The Alchemist.

Some folks have to put in a lot of work so we can enjoy the show. Just want to say "Thanks!".
