Please follow me if you like my B&W photos, I am not the best photographer as I take most of my shots from my wheelchair so I cannot get into the best places/positions to take a photo but I try my best. Lee.

Symbolic statement about myself having the tendency to over complicate issues processes so much so that the obvious is not visible.

Between 1940 and 1941 a network of tunnels was excavated sixty feet below Hargate Forest on the south side of Broadwater Down in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. No documentary evidence relating to these tunnels survives although there is a strong local rumours that the tunnels would have been used as an underground operations room for Lt. General Montgomery (later Field Marshall) in the event of an invasion.

This I think is bunker entrance A. There are three entrances altogether. As a young boy in the 70's I explored this bunker which becomes pitch black as as the stairs are descended. I didn't know whether to feel petrified or elated at being so far underground with only the dimly lit torches that were around at the time.

I like these post apocalyptic places. It reminds me of Bladerunner, Mad Max and Altered Carbon

Keep your face to the sunshine and you cannot see the shadow. It's what sunflowers do. - Helen Keller,

Just eat a lemon: so tasty, so juicy citrus fruit. Just eat a lemon, and keep smiling. To make this masterpiece I had to eat this very lemon. Sure, it was a great fun.

I have visited Corfe Castle several times but only to photograph it from an adjacent hill. This was the first time that I paid the National Trust to go inside.

There is always something romantic about wandering around castle ruins and connecting with the history of the place. I also like "discovering" different views - here the keep is nicely framed by an arch in the inner ward

i refuse to drive by something again and say "oh yeah, i'll take a shot of that later..." with the dramatic clouds today, i especially couldn't pass up this decrepit old house.

I guess it's time for the annual recap!

So, in 2021, I posted 9 Mocs:

- 3 Space Jam entries. I especially liked the collaborative category, I had talented and helpful teammates. We might be preparing something this year... Thanks to the organizers, it's an awesome contest with inspiring categories.

- 2 different bonsais, the big one for the Brickset competition and the mini version for a Lego Ideas contest. Quite different from what I'm used to, but it feels great to try other themes.

- A metro scene for a contest by @brickcentral on Instagram, I'm very happy to have won the first prize, there were so many great entries.

- A figbarf competition organized by Brickpirate, I chose to represent The Queen's Gambit characters with a minifig-scale chessboard.

- 2 other MOCs, a rover based on weird wheels and an humanoid zebra bust, because why not.

This is less MOCs than last year, for 2 reasons: I worked for weeks on a post-apo diorama that was shown at exhibitions, but I never took the time to photograph it. Also, I moved so it took me a while to setup my new Lego room.

I've just realized I've hit 1K followers here. A big thank you to all of you for watching, commenting and sharing my work! Keep building awesome stuff.

Coming soon:

- Space Jam 2021 : I've got plenty of ideas, some of them are nearly finished. I hope to enter at least 4 categories (if I have time... )

- my post-apo diorama, when I'll finally decide to shoot it.
