This is in a nearby horse pasture, where the trees have fences to keep the horses out! I thought it was a fun twist on the concept that fences are usually larger structures that keep things in.

I’ve been cut down and I choose to keep growing. One tiny little leaf at a time. It doesn’t look like much but it’s incredibly hard and rewarding work.

When life is tough, just keep pushing forward and nothing can stop you.

Check out all locations I built:
Red Keep , Winterfell , Eyrie , Castle Black , Pyke and Braavos
All started in 2016 when I built my first Micro Scale Game of Thrones castles. I liked the look, but I wasn’t pleased with the movement. So for the final season I wanted to finally do it right and rebuilt all castles from scratch: This time from the beginning on with the concept to move them.
You can see the result on Youtube or Instagram.
Mechanical aspect was completely new to me, but I really enjoyed this challenge. In total I guess I spent three months at this project.
For my next exhibitions I will have all six castles in my bag, so you can turn them live!
I also got to make instructions for two fan favourites, Red Keep and Winterfell. If you want to build your own copy check out jonaskramm.com

March 2017 Snowstorm
~ 26 inches of snow in one day here - up to 3 to 5 feet in other locations of New York State and the Northeast ~

Come back tomorrow night and try it again"

This Praying Mantis looked like it was trying to either hitch a ride or to break in. You can tell it knows it's up to no good by its surreptitious, backward glance over the shoulder. :))
