The ruin of the Chica on the River Weaver, some great textures made even better when painted in golden sunlight. I have shot this old boat a few times now, it's right next to the river so an easy win really. I keep thinking next time I go back it will have sunk looking at the state of it. There is quite a story to the history and its later owner, I will have to dig it out and add to the post.

Hey I published a travel photo book on blurb.com.
I'd be happy about your support, so check it out! (or buy it even!)
Yup, the fire lane looks clear...
More fun from Tim Baskerville's Mare Island meetup.

Former Department of Materials Science & Metallurgy building, University of Cambridge. The department has moved to the West Site and the building is clad in scaffolding as a part of the Zoology Museum refurbishment.
Things are looking up. That is, if you remember to look up. Keep marching ahead, that's the trick. But do mind the lamppost!
Comments always appreciated, as long as you keep it clean - I love to hear your feedback! xx
For Leeds Fisrt Friday Gemma and I helped out two first-timers as we love to do. What a brilliant night! Rose and Becky had such a good time - and Becky even came out with us the next night to a non-lgbt club! Amazing, and wonderful to see someone new really taking to being out and about.
Also, I did my second ever karaoke performance at The Bridge, which I absolutely loved! And it turns out there's a little diva buried inside me somewhere - at the end of the song, I got a couple of cheers from the back of the pub, and in response I blew a kiss, LOL! Diva!
Another of Gemma's awesome slow motion corridor walking videos. I forgot to upload this one the other day when I uploaded the others.
Buster racing thru the tide pool in the bay at low tide to keep his treasured piece of kelp from his dog pals. Explored 9/26/17
I often drive by perfect scenes or interesting settings and add them to my mental "I have to photograph that" list. On this day, I grabbed an old Nikon D700 we have at work and tromped out into the snowy field to photograph the little schoolhouse around sunset. Read all about it.
It's funny someone posted THAT sign to a run-down, abandoned schoolhouse.

Like sparks on the water, the sun shines through the dancing chop in the sound after a windy day.
I am in Jersey....still. Missing my home in the south. It is cold here, and there is no ocean. i am trying as best i can to be patient and upbeat while i am here. I am not good at this ...dealing with depression scares me half to death, possibly because i know depression first hand and i feel like the negativity of someone else’s takes me back too close to when it was me. Things will be day to day here for the next two weeks....hopefully new medication and things will be good so i can get back to work. I do not like this feeling of trying so hard to keep someone else afloat when i can barely swim on my own at times. Yes...the discomfort frightens me a lot and makes me want to run.
i am trying to stay busy with some art for the store and a local gallery in the meantime...to pass the days, and i will take one night and one day late this week for me and go on a shoot with my dear friend Torrie....i am looking so forward to that.
In the meantime....i will try to just b r e a t h e.
Coopers at Grimsby re-livered their N370LPN recently and it still provides good service usually out to Barton from the college. Its sister in law P145KWJ was sadly written off in a serious accident 5 days after this picture was taken.
Yeah, technically she doesn't exist in the DCU right now I don't think, which is such a crime, but it sounds like a lot of businessy mumbo jumbo. I'm keeping her in the same album, though, just for ease of use.
I tried to keep her color scheme and core outfit pieces in tact as best I could, but I'm not tremendously sure how I feel about it. Definitely one to be improved as new parts come.
