a sketchbook assignment from kennedy high school's (bloomington, mn) honors art class. the drawings, aka. "at-home-works" are based on danny gregory's style of illustrated journalling.

for the group art-journal love. create 10-15 loose journal pages of any size and attach them using 2 large binder rings.

i have many different journal books going on at the same time....i am trying to limit them, and finish up the half started journals all around.....they all do get completely finished at some point but i have journals that i have been working in for years.....and some i finished in months......

My first Calendar grid in a Journal.

MACBET Journal Evaluation Project is a Youth Exchanges, Training and Networking / Evaluation project which has been funded by Turkish National Agency and held in Istanbul between November 26 and December 3 with the participation of young journalists and media workers from 18 countries to evaluate and develop the MACBET project that has been held between January 9 and 15, 2012 in Ankara. Another entry in my journal using the Artella Studio Kit (Old time arts, crafts and hobbies). The sewing page was perfect to show and tell the importance of passing on our skills to our children. Stamps are by Stamping Zoo (no longer in business) and notions are things I had lying around the house.
