Spending the day completing my journal. Just a little more time consuming than I had imagined.

I love this so much. Finished last night. On sale tomorrow!

Art Journal page about our double date for Valentines Day 2008

Found myself reverting to making a traditional page about an event, then stopped myself. This is for my journal, I needed to express my feelings about the evening, not just documenting the night. My thought process freed me to get in touch with my feelings about the night instead. Then I stamped over my words. Liberating!

stuff I've been dealing with lately so I journaled about it.

excerpts from my freshly finished notebook that I stuff all sorts of things in...

The top of this journal card had a sentiment that just didn't match my page, but the colors and the numbering did. So I punched a ticket, a strip of pattern paper, and stamped a new sentiment (Ali Edwards by Technique Tuesday). I only had 6 photos and the journal card had 7 slots. So I cut another strip of paper to cover the 7th slot and wrote a closing statement.

It may not be perfect, but it works for me! I'm definitely going to adapt journal tags again to make them fit my pages!

These pages were done for the 1001 Journals project and my contribution to this travelling journal was the theme of India.
