Une certaine forme de poésie....

Comme un journal, les tags sont éphémères, destinés à être recouverts le lendemain par d'autres artistes. Et comme on est jamais mieux servi que par soi-même, la version du 12 septembre 2011 est recouverte à moitié (peut-être ?) par son auteur. DH was looking for tack cloth and a new router bit. I drew the view out the drivers side of the truck. I'd gotten 3 shades of gray marker to practice looking at values. It is informative!

While I was practising page2 this image came to me and I had to stop and work on this first.I'm still doing Marie's image because there is so much to learn yet! But the muse led me to this...I don't journal but wanted to have new ways to illustrate my husband's poetry.He loved it.

This is my first ROTD journal. For the cover I used a canvas fabric and left over pieces of red, black and denim fabric. Lots of stitching and embroidering.

For the three signatures, I used scrapbookpaper, pages of my old study books, a 1948 cookbook, envelopes and more.
