This jacket generally seems too tight, although it is bagging on the front (upper bust?). The jacket is only supposed to have a single button at the waist but I guess it could have a second button higher up if that would help... There is also a dart from the front shoulder that is hidden by the lapels. You'll see in the other pictures that there are a few issues going on in the back too, but I don't really know what I need to do to fix them. I have made a mess of setting in the sleeves but I think I'll do better next time - just did it in a hurry late at night.
Worked out a little bit of an asymmetrical front closure & feeling satisfied. Jacket made from dress, pants & skirt.
Applique jacket out of brown cashmere fabric. Applique from McCalls pattern. Used self fabric cuffs and bands instead of ribbing.

Jacket in blue and white wool herringbone. Side pockets. Lined in blue pongee.
This represents a pretty huge amount of work, right here. The entire thing was drafted and then put through a muslin stage before I cut in to the wool. Everything was tweaked and fiddled with as it went along because this is basically a prototype. I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out, though.
