Notes: I may now join the minions of amazed and surprised knitters. Knitting along on a shapeless mass of fabric only to fold it together into an neat little jacket. No recipient: knitted this one out of pure curiosity.

I was using a tripod, ring flash, and 3 foot remote to shoot these Yellow Jackets flying in and out of their nest underground. When I was ready to leave, I shot this image on my hands and knees two feet from the nest.

Yeah, I know..... some got tweaked when I pulled this one. It's back, and when I get a "pro" account, I'll post a huge file will lotsa detail.
