My jacket was cut off, 1/2 went with me to the ER the other 1/2 went with the bike to the impound yard. This is an Aerostich Darien Jacket $500 and worth every cent. www.aerostich.com/ The left shoulder and right arm sustained the majority of the damage. I sometimes felt silly wearing such a get up, I even had Harley riders make fun of me. I'm so grateful that I was religious about wearing full gear.

This jacket generally seems too tight, although it is bagging on the front (upper bust?). The jacket is only supposed to have a single button at the waist but I guess it could have a second button higher up if that would help... There is also a dart from the front shoulder that is hidden by the lapels. You'll see in the other pictures that there are a few issues going on in the back too, but I don't really know what I need to do to fix them. I have made a mess of setting in the sleeves but I think I'll do better next time - just did it in a hurry late at night.
