Minoru Jacket in Red Wool Crepe. Blogged here: fromthesunnyside.wordpress.com/2013/03/26/minoru-jacket-f... (This is an old one I am finally uploading. I love my Minoru!)
got this jacket when i was 15, when i was a punky skinhead. 1982.... label is long washed out, orange lining, reversible YKK zip, no inside pockets. badges i added myself, antique shop had a big box of badges.
Sleeves removed, slimmed and shortened. Sides torn out and taken in about 2 inches total on each side. Sides of pockets and pocket flaps torn out and re-sewn. The jacket has no lining, which makes for a much simpler job. Also, the wool is so thick and strong that taking out old seams or mistakes is pretty easy.
All this oversized fleece jacket needed a little downsizing to make it perfect for the coming weeks.
