It's been a while since I've been here. *waves*

Yes, today i've seen lots of frost and ice driving to work. This was taken fropm the comfort of my car. I did go as far as opening the window :-) The sun was up and melting it fast to make the mist.

It must be so hard for a mother to see her child like this!

(i did not take this)

It was nice to see Nala again. I think she's been off on an adventure with her 'Dad', as I haven't seen her lately. She is quite a poser !!

Sometimes it's clear, sometimes not so much. Sometimes there's traffic and other times none. but rarely is it clear with no traffic. Thank you lord for granting me both briefly so that I can catch a small part of your majesty.

It was at the inlet, where ocean water enters the bay. We have no idea what it is, but it seemed to be alive. The image isn't too sharp; I did my best with my long lens.

Sunrise shoot with folks from Focus Australia, this morning at Wollongongs lighthouse point, got there just before 5am headed down to the 'Nuns' pool - a lil tricky in the dark but worth the effort.

It is the last meet between the eastbound and westbound "Canadian" in Winnipeg. While it wasn't the -50 windchill of the previous week it was still damn cold: nevertheless, crowds turned out to protest, greet family either working the trains or riding them, and even to witness the glamorous cruise trains roll into history. I walk the length of the train, out from under the (relatively) warm train shed to photograph our power, VIA Rail FP9A number 6307, using a used Yashicamat TLR medium format camera. Two classics, face to face...

In a few days a "new" Canadian will depart Toronto and head to Vancouver via Edmonton instead of Calgary. Don't be fooled: today's "Canadian" is a rebranded "Super Continental" although it does, thankfully, utilize former Canadian passenger cars (ex-Canadian Pacific Budd-built fluted stainless steel cars, instead of the Super Continental's former Canadian National smooth-side and painted Pullman-Standard rolling stock)..

An aside: in the next millenium I will photograph this same locomotive -- rebuilt into an FP9ARM and in classic Canadian Pacific passenger livery -- on the point of a special passenger train commemorating Canada's 150th anniversary. That photo will be in summer, in Montreal's Old Port, as a color digital file instead of black-and-white 120 film negative. And I won't be a passenger then...

This very large bumble bee had just come out from inside this Day lily after gathering the nectar to take back to its hive so the colon can grow and reproduce. But it is also covered in pollen. The next day lily this bee would land on to search for more nectar would finish the work and pollenate the flower and start the cycle over for the next years flowers and bees!

A simple transaction that benefits both the bees and the flowers.

B&W print in my collection, B Bock photo. Undated, but there is a 1939 painted date stenciled on the side of the loco frame, so presumably some time in the 1940's.

It’s a few days shy of being two months since I broke my ankle. I had another follow-up appointment today and the doctor had good news. The bone is healed, I can ditch the crutches and put full weight on my ankle! I’m not out of the woods yet, but it feels good to walk around (as best I can). My ligaments still need some time and my right leg muscles have atrophied. Tomorrow I begin physical therapy and I’m ready to do what it takes to be back skiing as soon as possible!

*I forgot to do LensTagger on this image. Shot with the a7rIII and Noct-NIKKOR 58mm f/1.2 AI-s

It’s look lige fog,but it’s not. Amazing

Moss is growing on the trees and it is so nice to see the green and new life in the woods.

Sapanca, Turkey. stupid idea for a work outfit, so unfair to these women. This is getting to be too commonwith village women, about 1 in 100 I would guess wear this black ninja outfit. Actually the name for it in Turkish is just "sheet", she is wearing a sheet.

Getting to grips with these delicious soft velvet boots, they fit like gloves if that makes sense. (lol). Thanks to the lovely Miss Tanya Fox for making this movie possible. xxx.

Although, it looked like it might begin to rain, thankfully, it didn't ~ just a little windy but a lovely day we had!

New York, 17.03.2007

It might be winter time but we're experiencing beautiful sunny weather here in California. As I watched this Eurasion Wigeon exchanging goo goo eyes with it's mate it's apparent that 'love is in the air'!

It's good to sit and wait for a star trail sequence to finish when you're sat in a warm car rather than freezing your nether regions off for 83 minutes.

I was at my favorite pond to check on the geese.. I heard this whirring whining noise and Mama goose and Daddy goose were straining to hear it by turning their necks...

I thought, " what on earth is is that irritating noise"?...Then I looked up and saw this drone flying around..The two goslings here by the water spotted it too..

There was a guy with a laptop computer who was controlling the thing.. I went over there and asked him if he was doing some experiment. He told me he wasn't and so I asked him if he could please go fly it somewhere else as it was bothering the ducks and geese and quite truthfully, me too!

I hope that these things aren't going to be the thing of the future.. . We don't need these drones flying about in the air!

It's a bit hard to find information on the different body styles Ford produced for the T. Pickup bodies weren't made until much later in the T's lifespan as far as I know, so consider this an independently made coach build.

I know a couple people have suggested I build a military platform T, and while that is on the docket, I'd love some other suggestions as well. I'm thinking of a possible TT fire engine, but I'm not very informed on them, so if anyone has some resources, I'd appreciate it if you'd send them my way.
