It`s Scammell All the way

It's a native grass species found throughout the East Coast of the U.S. in lightly grazed pastures and fields. I found these after sunset near the French Broad River in Asheville, North Carolina.
ALTHOUGH it is rather nondescript the corn bunting does have a distinctive song. It dangles it legs when flying short distances, and just look at its nails, they are very approachable with extreme care, I love seeing them at the Ancient Highway Sandwich Kent.

It is naptime for me now and grumpy face has come to get me. Cammy always looks so mad, but he is the most affectionate cat (besides Patches) I have ever had. Cammy reminds me of a dog. He plays fetch. He waits for me, greets me at the door.
It is unfeasible for me to take only one photograph or choose one image that I truly believe captures the essence of that place. It just doesn’t happen that way for me :-)

It's not often that I see the secretive Sora in the open.
It took nearly half an hour of waiting and hunkering down to finally get some shots of this individual. But as you can see...worth it!

The "stars" are lights reflecting off other pieces of hand blown glass.

It is a former estate garden featuring annuals, roses and wildflowers and an extensive rockery. It is located on Wilket Creek, one of the tributaries of the Don River West Branch. The estate's title was once held by Alexander Milne, a Scottish weaver who settled here after the War of 1812 and left in 1832. The land and the woolen/saw mills was obtained by Rupert E. Edwards in 1944 and created his country home. Edwards home was left in neglect and was purchased by the Municipality of Metro Toronto in 1955 and became Edwards Gardens in 1956. 126

The severe angle of this tree, and the evidence of complete surgery of all of its limbs, was not enough to destroy its ability to survive. Fresh branches have sprouted...I hope it makes it.
Ironically, this tree survives at a "ghost town" , Glen Haven, Michigan.
