New wing designed by SANAA. A4 ink brush on cheap paper.

The owner of the boat on the left told me he bought it in the Netherlands and sailed it here. It was built in 1928 and he’s converting it into a house boat.

The mother and daughter were asked if they’d like to pose for a sketch.

My wife persuaded me to draw this. I think she wanted to read her book at this idylic spot.

The owner asked if I was cold drawing his house and that I should come back when it’s warmer.
