This is from the "I Could Pee On This" calendar I got for Christmas by Francesco Marciuliano.
Have a great Friday!
The cover of the calendar is in the comments.
I bruise easily, so be gentle when you handle me
There's a mark you leave, like a love heart carved on a tree
I bruise easily, can't scratch the surface without moving me
Underneath I bruise easily, I bruise easily
I've found your finger prints on a glass of wine
Do you know you're leaving them all over this heart of mine too
But if I never take this leap of faith I'll never know
So I'm learning to fall with no safety net to cushion the blow

I paid an early morning visit to Carburn Park after dropping my great-grand daughter off at school.
Thanks for your visits and comments! They are all greatly appreciated!
After Leela (Louise Jameson) left Doctor Who in 1978, Tom Baker expressed the desire for his new companion to be a talking cabbage, which would sit on his shoulder. Or so the story goes.
Knowing Tom's reputation at the time, the BBC bar may have been involved... :)
I would like to say many thanks to Nicholas for writing me a testimonial. A young guy who started with photograpy not so long ago, but you can see that he has talent! Thanks man, appreciate your kind words!

I'm a "few steps" of Lisbon, but even though I miss it. This city is so photogenic, we just have to look it carefully and with an open heart. There are so much out there to be caught through a lens...
then i can't see you
Today was a slow day, and kind of feels like this song. everything kind of fell apart at the last minute. I watched about a million episodes of desperate housewives and pottered about the house for a little while. Hmm. I'm not sure what to do with myself!

The Shah-i-Zinda is a necropolis that grew around the legendary grave of Qutham ibn Abas, a cousin of the prophet Muhammad.
From the late 14th century onwards, Amir Timur ordered the construction of various mausoleums for mainly his female relatives. The result is a small city for the dead, covered with magnificent blue tile mosaics in various Islamic geometric patterns.
Oh I want you, I want you, I want you
On a chair with a dead magazine
In the cave at the tip of the lily
In some hallway where love's never been
On a bed where the moon has been sweating
In a cry filled with footsteps and sand

"An inukshuk can be small or large, a single rock, several rocks balanced on each other, round boulders or flat. Built from whatever "

I do like this dress and it is a dress. Picked it up from a charity shop before i went away so its a bit snug due to my over eating lol.
I hope to maybe get to wear it out over the Christmas period if we are allowed out that is.
Ok, I had to try new plate from Portugal and ice forms - so what? ;-))

I stumbled across this little gem while looking back through some photos from 2013 in the San Juan Islands. Love the simplicity, there's really not much going on in this one. Just gorgeous September light, glassy water and that beautiful big, black dorsal fin. Missing these guys, getting the itch to just book that return flight already!

Day 49 - February 18, 2010
Third Installment of my Boy Behind The Lens Series.
The love affair began when I purchased my first iPod. It was one of those iconic white ones, with a scroll wheel, a mono-chromatic screen and twenty gigabytes of disk space. Five iPods, 2 iPhones, and about half a decade later here I am an Apple evangelist, fanboy, or whatever else they call people like me.
But more than just being a lover of all things Apple, at heart, I am a true blue techie, a lover of all things that have to do with technology and gadgets. From pocket video cameras, gaming consoles, gizmos and what have you, I love it all, these are my toys and my passion.
I have dabbled in web and graphic design, blogging, micro blogging, podcasting, and non-linear video editing. Nowadays I bring that knowledge in multimedia into my own profession with work in Digital News Gathering (DNG), social media and hosting a tech segment on TV. Its really great because I get to do something related to what I love and am passionate about.
Some friends call me the "tech guy", you can do the same if you want. And as part of the package if you have a tech question, need buying advise, or my thoughts on a particular device, or Internet service don't hesitate to send me Flickr-mail, I love to teach and help people out.
PHOTO NOTES: I've always known that I wanted to do an Apple themed shoot and earlier today while trying to figure out how I would implement my concept, my red iPod nano caught my eye. I've always loved the color of my red nano and today it really has served as the inspiration for this diptych. I knew I needed color since my keyboard was black and the apple logo on my MacBook Pro is white on silver.
To add red to the keyboard I basically made a large white canvas on Photoshop, enough to fill the screen and then filled it with red, also placed a large red bag against my laptop so the color would reflect on the backlit keys.
To add red to the Apple logo I basically shot this in the dark, waited till the logo dimmed from full brightness (it does this for a few seconds before the screen eventually goes black to save power), and then added the red tint using my iPhone (again opening up a white canvas and filling it with red).

I found Incy was at home the other day, at home and happy to pose.
Better viewed large.
Thank you for your favourites. :O)
Well, I finally decided to destroy the old 'Hog. I could just never fix the shape. I've completely rebuilt the Warthog, and I'm much more pleased with it.
I'd also like to thank Legohaulic for taking the time to help me out with the design.
More pictures on the Mocpage.
Today's OARCB (old ass rivet counter boomer) mundane wedgie for National Ohio Week, the northbound I&O LNL just south of Delta (CR C) on June 16th. 30 years there were no trees here!
...I had taken this picture.
I recently acquired a few thousand 35mm slides from Bill Silveria, a friend of mine who grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and worked as a station master for Southern Pacific at Santa Clara and other locations around the area. From time to time, he'd travel over to Stockton to catch the action at Santa Fe Stockton Tower, a meca hosting three of California's big class-one railroads: Southern Pacific, Santa Fe, and Western Pacific. Of course, the fourth (UP) eventually consumed two of them, and the fifth (BN) merged with Santa Fe.
On a cloudy day in March 1977, when I was still months from being seven years old (and my wife was only one month old), Bill was out catching what is likely a 928 train from Richmond. CF-7 #2489 (former F-7A 206C) is in the lead and GP35 #3303, still in the old scheme, trails as the train simultaneously blocks both the SP and WP at Stockton Tower.
Super what girls?
I just saw this and I really don't know what to think....
They have gone too far this time!
Also, hi! Still alive but in the process of moving house so very stressed! :D

I actually took this image on my doorsteps, #Just3MinutesAwayFromHome, when Desi and I explored some new views to the western horizon. Now its cold and rainy outside, but when the photo was taken, it was warm and there was a beautiful gorgeous sky.
I don't want you to feel sorry for me
You don't need to fix everything for me
Because I can do that myself
But I do need you to know I'm still here
And I want you to tell me that it's going to be all right
Because I need you now, more than ever
I forget what this is called
& sometimes it's better that way
let's say it's a forget-me-not-not
(...it's wild blue phlox...)
