I could confuse my family history at times with some of these photos. I look so much like some of my now sadly departed relatives like uncle burt, he liked a dress or two and great grandpa Albert had a thing for bustle dresses. Of course I do resemble some of the female members of the family too.
... so i hdr-ed this pic. tsk tsk ;) hehehe ...

Roanyer Ria mask, blue lenses, lashes, G cups, sweet blue lace frock, and modest curves encased in a new pair of beige Rose Sakura sheer to waists. The latter feel just as wonderful as the black ones, but they are not quite as shiny. More photos, as always, here... www.deviantart.com/marilynbardot
Earlier this year I did an overnighter into the Tama Lakes area to shoot night sky time-lapse. It was only one night but I was loaded up with a lot of gear and left it a bit late to get started on the track so I was in a bit of a hurry to get to my chosen spot so I would at least have a little time to set my rigs in the twilight. Turns out I got a bit distracted by a beautiful sunset on the way in and pulled everything out of my pack to set up half way in for this shot. Glad I made the effort to do that. It turned out to be a cold February night out with a heavy dew that night which played havoc with one of my rigs as I forgot one of my dew heaters.
Lake Wolfgang (German: Wolfgangsee) is a lake in Austria that lies mostly within the state of Salzburg and is one of the best known lakes in the Salzkammergut resort region. The municipalities on its shore are Strobl, St. Gilgen with the villages of Abersee and Ried as well as the market town of St. Wolfgang in the state of Upper Austria. The town and the lake are named after Saint Wolfgang of Regensburg, who, according to legend, built the first church here in the late 10th century.

I guess somewhere along the way
He must have let us all out to play
Turned his back and all god's children
Crept out the back door
And it's hard to love, there's so much to hate
Hanging on to hope
When there is no hope to speak of
And the wounded skies above say it's much too late
Well maybe we should all be praying for time

One of my favourite covers, so I shall post the Carrie Underwood's rendition. Guess what, I shall liberate myself and stop putting my signatures across my works! I'm done- until I get a spiffy cursive signature looking stamp. =) I spent the whole of last night catching up to Kathy Griffin's My Life On The D-List. I love that comedienne.

OMG I FINALLY FIGURED OUT HOW PEOPLE DO THIS AND AH I AM SO EXCITED. YES. I did some heart ones too, but they didn't come out as well.
here is the link for how to do this.
SOOC.
I spy a sponge and a carton of juice,
A fairy's wings and a moose on the loose;
A surfboard, two radios, and notes from a lab,
A monkey, a turtle, a clam and two crabs.
I spy a skeleton missing his head,
A hot dog, a hook, and a quiver that's red;
A lizard man's face, a horse and two drills,
A sea monster's hair and two hundred dollar bills.
I spy a beard and two topless carrots,
A chicken, an arrow, and a couple of parrots;
A scorpion, an owl, a map and a sun,
Both Start and a Finish, and now the game's done.

My first I Spy photo is here.
PS 1: I made this for my kids, and spent way too much time on it. I've decided it's good enough for them, so I'm going to stop moving all the little pieces around endlessly, trying to make the spaces all even. It's actually a whole lot like working with cheese slopes...
PS 2: There are actually four kitties, but I didn't think they were all obvious in the picture. This picture was larger than the last, so it was harder to see all the details on the objects. It was a different experience working at this scale.
PS 3: Credit to Walter Wick and Jean Marzollo for the I Spy idea. My kids still love the books.
PS 4: I re-did the face many times. At first I used white objects, but they really obscured the simple features of the face -- which are the eyes and nose -- no mouth. The tiles really helped it to look more recognizable.
I'm so dead.
Well, I guess that's just how life rolls. Mainly I blame my other non-Lego activities for not focusing on Lego stuff. I really do want to continue, but ever since I got back, Lego and Flickr in general just isn't the same :/
Anyway, that rifle was really hard to make. Big thanks to Jake for sending me all those prototypes, with the backwards half parts.
I've been trying out a new camo which I call "Glass Bottle" camo, on the rifle. It's still in its early stages and needs to be tweaked.

No, it's not for trade :3
I love this photo. I took it when I was backpacking with my friends. We had just reached our campsite and were utterly alone. We set down our packs and started to wander around, just being teenagers. Being the photographer and the one with the camera, I wasn't in most of the photographs taken. However, in this photo, it almost seems like they left a spot for me to stand as if I wasn't behind them taking this picture, but scaling the hill with them.
I watched the birds feeding in quite a frenzy at my garden feeders today which included one of my Pheasants and a Wood Pigeon who kindly hoover up the unwanted food on the ground the Sparrows throw everywhere.
I glanced out of the window again not more than 5 or 10 minutes later and I am now down one pigeon and gained a fine mess to clear up !
Luckily the camera was to hand and I was quite pleased with some of the photo's as it was very dark and dismal today as well as raining quite heavily.
The bird cast me a watchful eye every so often as she could see me photographing her from my bedroom window but she wasn't about to give up her prize.
When a wave is high, water is relative to the surfer.
I believe the combination of wave and surfer can show action very well.
I am happy to be home again and look forward to catching up with your photos.

I found this stump to be rather interesting. Mostly because of its size. It was a good 6-7 feet tall and very wide. The fallen tree that was the rest of this thing was also very massive.
Morning hike through the forest. A nice place when the light starts to poke through. Somewhere in the woods near Lincoln City, OR.
Looks nice viewed large.

MONTCADA I REIXAC-PREMI-CONCURS-PINTURA-FESTA MAJOR-FEM MONTCADA-AUDITORI MUNICIPAL-PREMIS-CONCURSOS-CATALUNYA-ESTACIO-TREN-FOTOS-ARTISTA-PINTOR-ERNEST DESCALS-
I tried filling in some colors of my own, trying to keep the loose style. The result is not something I would have ever thought of painting - but it is colorful!

...and I brought Peggy!"
☺
What:
Yep, you guessed it... Peggy & me back again!!
Where:
Peggy's Cove, Nova Scotia, Canada
When:
During sunset last night.
About:
I am very sorry that I haven't been around here on Flickr but as many of you know I bought a house and have been quite busy renovating it (very slow going though).
I decided to get out of the house yesterday as it was gorgeous out! Actually we have had an amazing summer here. Anyway I grabbed my gear and headed to the ocean (as usual). Of course by the end of the day I ended up at Peggy's Cove and got lucky with a perfect sunset!
When I was leaving I ended up seeing a few folks from the photo club I know, they were meeting up with Terry for a long exposure workshop that he was putting on. I would have liked to stay for that but I had dinner plans and had to get back to the city. I hope everything went well guys and I look forward to seeing your work!
EXIF:

Please, no multiple invites or crazy glittery graphics. Thank You
I took this picture at a flea market. I loved how the previous owner labeled this trunk "old stuff" . I love vintage treasures!

Taken last spring when we were in Colonial Williamsburg with Brownie Hawkeye Camera. Sometimes this is result when you use old cameras. Film is grossly over exposed and lens is in upside down.

This image is chosen as my "first photo" of 2006 for flickr today. I had a rough night last night with a virus and a broken toe to keep me both company and awake late. But such a joy this morning to go out into my urban backyard and find so much beauty. Did I ever mention how much I enjoy having this little Point and Shoot Minolta DiMAGE x1?
I like to drive. Sometimes I see strange things. Sometimes they frighten me. Sometimes they confuse me. But I keep driving.....keep moving. Lola was often in the car with me, ever alert, always vigilant to roadside hazards....

I wish …. but we should be happy with what we have . Take a look at couple of my good friends :
Bob aka westrock-bob and Peggy ( ps she is originally from Trinidad ) - they photographed frost … not just ordinary frost but radiation frost known as hoar frost.
BTW my image is from the entrance to the port of Ajaccio in Corsica . Can you imagine one little guy left that island ( that city ) to start bunch of wars and … introduced metric system ( bet you didn't know that )
