The No.9 Typhoon has been visiting Taiwan for the past 4 days and made some damages to our island. From the TV news, I saw the riverside suffered the most. This photo was shot prior to the typhoon and hope it will recover soon.

El desayuno es uno de los mejores momentos del día, quizás el mejor para organizar la agenda, ver las cosas que quedan pendientes y por qué no, reflexionar sobre la vida…
Hoy es el último de mis cinco días de vacaciones: días de relax donde lo máximo a lo que quise aspirar fue a caminar un poco, absorber los rayos solares y disfrutar de una dieta sana en comunión con la naturaleza. Pero ahora me doy cuenta de que no quiero volver a sumergirme en el ritmo frenético de la ciudad, dejar este, mi rincón favorito, mi escondite casi secreto, para lidiar de nuevo contra el reloj: el tráfico, la muchedumbre, el mal humor, las obligaciones… Negar lo evidente sería absurdo, las vacaciones siempre se hacen cortas. Lo más sensato será entonces afrontar la realidad y, aunque mi otro yo se resista, tratar de doblegar mi espíritu ocioso hasta que sea posible una nueva escapada.

Breathtaking!
On a clear day, you can see Mt. Fuji above those farm houses, right where the clouds are. Although this was not the weather I expected, I made the most of what I had on this day. Photographed at Oshino Village, Yamanashi, Japan.
This is a shot looking into a blue vase on top of a reflective pink mat with white light shining from the side. Taken with a Canon 35mm f/2 lens. Type L for a better view.
Our Daily Topic - High Angle - 2/16/11
Little tartes with fresh blueberries. The cream filling is based on a maize polenta flavored with vanilla. The blueberries are added on top. After baking tartes are dusted with powder sugar.
