I have been thinking of shooting the sea of clouds in Yangmingshan National Park for a couple of months. I finally made it yesterday when we had a short break from rain. Unfortunately, it did not last until the sun set. But still great enough to be the first shot I share in 2013~
昨天感謝高森相告，一早大屯山就出現雲海，我衝上去時，雲海正開始翻滾，中間還穿插一些出現斜射光的機會，可惜沒能維持到夕陽時分，但還是蠻適合作為新年新氣象的第一張～

The sunset above the sea of clouds was such an unforgettable one and I would like to share more shots from that day. The way on the right hand side is the drive way to the shooting spot. Its height is 1,008m above the sea level. The clouds are quite rare in this season and only can be seen during the winter or autumn.
八月我竟然還沒開張，好像很偷懶啊！只好再度分享七月底，難得一見的大屯山雲海夕陽！

Description: Though I have captured this POV numerous times, I do not think I would tire from visiting it. The image was taken at a popular building known to cityscape photographers in Kuala Lumpur during last weekend where I was just to busy to go far. Alhamdulillah that I made the right choice to go for sun setting session with my wife as the moment that day to me was mesmerizing.

Its funny how time can breathe new life into a otherwise mundane photograph. Initially I wasn't overly thrilled with this picture but looking back I'm glad I took it. With the help of a fully extended tripod I was able to raise my camera over the 6.5' suicide barrier to flick Amtrak 572 and Sunnyside Yard.
The sunset of last night at Mt. Yanming is a memorial one. Only the sunset was a gorgeous one, the after glow was a brilliant one too. I was so lucky~

As season turns autumn, the sunset afterglow is not that red as summer but kind of dim glow. It was sunny last week and I visited this high angle shooting spot again. Maybe I should use different lens next time.
