A high angle shot of the sea with big rocks in the water under a blue cloudy sky - great for a background or a blog

5XP HDR shot of frantically busy Shibuya in Tokyo, Japan.

This was taken from my hotel room and was fortunate to have such an awesome view! The processing was a bit more difficult given the reflection and dust from outside the window but I'm happy with this result. I really enjoy living/visiting in fast-paced cities and my recent trip to Shibuya only reinforced this belief. The 'scramble crossing' which was featured in such movie classics as: Lost in Translation & Fast and The Furious - Tokyo Drift, is really a sight to behold - an estimated 3k ppl go through the section every minute!

Some Shibuya marquees shown include: A part of the scramble crossing in the lower-right, Shibuya 109 department store, Yoyogi Park, Q-Front building, and Center Gai.

When we flew from Los Angeles to the Grand Canyon in a small plane in 2017, we were so low that we had a fantastic view. The photo from a DC-3 flight that my dear friend, Monika (www.flickr.com/photos/185362536@N08/) recently published inspired me to post this shot of the highly rugged landscape we flew over.

Although such naturalistic pictures are less well received, I dare to publish one again. Yesterday I went hiking in Toggenburg, Switzerland. The landscape there is overwhelming. I took this shot from an adventurous suspension train with my smartphone in the early hours of the morning

Diano Marina is a village on the Italian riviera or also called flower riviera. In 1887, Diano was almost completely destroyed by an earthquake. Therefore, many houses have a "modern" architecture and no longer contribute to the typical idyllic architecture that we tourists from the north imagine from Italian fishing villages

Inspired by this.

It felt so good that the weather warmed up, it was 81 degrees yesterday. That doesn't mean, so I found out, that a creek will be warm...but it was worth it.

You can find updates that I won't post here, such as links to interviews and things like that on my fb.

I'm going to be better about stream visits...I'll visit all your streams today, commenters!

I do love to visit Mt. Fuji area when I traveled to Japan. The clouds will be lower after sunrise due to the temperature inversion.

最近幾次去日本,熟悉了河口湖一帶的攝點,多去幾次才會拍到富士山的各種面貌,雖然還是遠遠不及在地人,能拍到這浮在雲上的富士山,還是很高興啊!

Typhoon number 1 has been leaving Taiwan this afternoon. Taipei was not in its storm cycle and very little damaged caused here. Thanks Heaven!

這次颱風台北沒在暴風圈內,倖免於難,希望其他地方也都平安!

Taipei has been hazy for several days and it was too hot to be outside. Typhoon #4 will pass by Taiwan from the south next week. The sky was quite beautiful. Thus I went shooting with bathing in sweat.

這次的颱風好像不直接登陸,但還是帶來沈降效應,台北夕陽霞光大噴。

It was high humidity during my visit to Lake Kawaguchi this time. Thus the clouds covered Mt. Fuji during the sunrise time. I used ND1000 filter to get the long exposure of drifting clouds.
