I found this rope in my studio and decided to use it for this weeks SP. No sinister intention or deeper meaning behind the image, although it gives the impression of unravelling which would have been an accurate description of my mind in January...:)
I think 'bound' fits the image well and i'm sure most of us identify with the concept of being bound to different things like responsibility, roles, expectations, work etc. Sometimes we should be able to relax and let go of the things that bind us and keep us from being really free to do the things we want.

Crews from Grimsby Fire, Niagara EMS, and Niagara Regional Police responded to Beamer Falls Conservation Area on the Bruce Trail for a report of a patient who had fallen a significant height over the edge of the escarpment. The patient was located by emergency workers, who repelled over the side of the escarpment, where they were unfortunately pronounced deceased. Police continue to investigate.
7XP HDR cityscape from Mount Hakodate in Hakodate, Hokkaido Japan.
This was one of the more challenging shots I've taken to date. Winds were howling in near-freezing temperatures atop Mt. Hakodate plus it was very, VERY DARK. I was amongst a handful of brave (hardcore?) ppl still outside on the observatory platform when it got dark there :P

An experiment with 18-35mm kit lens and an extension tube.
(Explored – or not. This shot keeps appearing and disappearing in Explore. At least according to Scout. Go figure, was #95.)

This is one of the eight springs called Nigori-Ike at Oshino Village, Yamanashi, Japan. The village has been a farming village for hundreds of years, but it’s preserving this type of thatched houses mainly as a cultural heritage and for tourist attraction.
When you hook up with your girlfriends and end up in a food coma..
Seriously though, this photo (and other group self-portraits to be posted over the next few days) has a little story.
In November 2019, I styled, directed, and modelled for a fairly large-scale photographic event over 8 days at The Hacienda London, with a total of 12 models, 16 photographers, countless various behind-the-scenes guys, beautiful vintage & Indian-inspired styling from All About Audrey (see last post) and collectively we raised over £1000 for Battersea Dogs & Cats home in London to help stray & abandoned pets find the forever home they deserve.
It's crazy to think this room was comparatively empty before I installed buckets of dried leaves, rose petals, sackcloth, rugs, all the bohemian table decor and of course a ukelele!
And much more out of shot which will be revealed in future posts, so stay tuned. I'm so excited to be able to share these photos with you as this is by far the largest scaled event I've ever styled & directed!

How long are his eyelashes? Taken with new 50mm 1.4 lens. So far so good! (PS: No special lighting. This was in a sunny kitchen, and I just said, "Tip your head back sweetie," and clicked. Amazing lens!)

2014-06-08 - Sometimes when you have been to the same place at the same time numerous time that, you would just get bored. However, I believe you cant be bored until you have covered all the time of day and also composition. Because of this, I woke up one day and decided to shoot this familiar place not so far from my how, by facing opposite the sunrise. Though the moment was not the best, Alhamdulillah I was able to enjoy thee beautiful view.

I was walking along the High Line, an abandoned railway line in the Meatpacking district of New York that was modelled on the Parisian Coulée Verte, an elevated linear park and greenway built on an old railway viaduct in the 12th arrondissement of Paris. While crossing a street, I peered down and found a new perspective on the iconic NYC taxi, and through the beams and the interesting reflected light, I captured this novel shot, despite the presence of private security guards who acted only as an obstacle to the peace and tranquillity that the line otherwise exuded.
3XP HDR shot of Hong Kong, Kowloon and Victoria Harbor from Sky 100 at the ICC Building.
Hong Kong's tallest building has an indoor observation floor which offers a grand 360-degree view, however, it's surprisingly difficult to get clean images~ reflections, obscure architecture/vantage points, indoor mood lighting and crowds are the primary concerns. I guess that applies to all skyscraper observation decks, huh? lol
I visited shortly after it opened and am eager for another visit! :)
