I live fairly close to Hadrian's Wall in Northumberland. This morning was a beautiful, crisp snowy day, so my daughter and I ventured out to do some Geocaching.
There is a cache hidden near St. Oswald's Church, Heavenfield, so we went off to find it.
This is such a magical and 'heavenly' spot. You can see for miles.
I took this shot seconds before a snow blizzard swept in and sent us scarpering back to the car.

"May there be peace when we
meet." ~Audrey Shenandoah, ONONDAGA
The Elders tell us the greatest gift we can seek is peace of mind, to walk in balance, to respect all things. For us to do this, we must have peace within ourselves and peace within ourselves cannot come unless we are walking the path the Creator would have us walk. Sometimes the tests on this path are difficult, but we know that each test makes us stronger. Oh Great Spirit, I ask You to whisper Your wisdom in my heart. You are
the only one who knows the secret to peaceful living and the mystery of
harmony. Teach me of Your peace, understanding and balance and guide me
onto your good path.
When I came home yesterday my Angel had decided to make her own handmade bearnaise sauce.
It was heavenly.
I´m not a big fan of this sauce at all and barely touches it when being served.
But this was the most delicious sauce I´ve ever tasted.
She served it with fries and some meat from an unknown critter. The meat we both threw away and ended up dipping fries in this sauce.
The silence around the table whilst dipping spoke for itself.
Today, I´m trying to figure out a reason for having fries and this for breakfast.
“Heavenly beautiful” is pure dress representing a garden full of pinkish roses. The white color makes you look unsoiled and immaculate … like a virgin! It was inspired both by a dress that Victoria Beckham was wearing and a mermaid dresses such as the ones which Beyonce wore on the red carpet.
This dress was made mainly of American satin and dahlia. The dahlia is a very sensitive and soft cloth but it has no special warnings for washing or ironing it, as well as the American satin does not have such special instructions. However, the dahlia is a thin material so it has to be ironed not on the highest temperature because there is a big chance of damaging it. What is more, I used bra cups and zipper as additional materials. Also, I made the flowers on the dress by hand and they are also counted as an additional thing along with the body bar and the satin strings. The flowers were made of several materials such as organza, dahlia and satin. In order for the bra cups which were put in the corset to stand still, I had to put something which was going to hold them together and this was cord. The look of a “virgin” is made to be playful and in the same time innocent.
Detail from wall-painting at the church of St. Maria & St. Clemens, Schwarzrheindorf. Note the measuring tape. I believe the applicable saying is: measure twice, apocalypse once, but I haven't looked it up.

Broken bones, broken hearts
Stripped down and torn apart
A little bit of rust - I'm still runnin'
Countin' miles, countin' tears
Twisted roads, shiftin' gears
Year after year - it's all or nothin'
But I'm not home, I'm not lost
Still holdin' on to what I got
Ain't much left
No there's so much that's been stolen
I guess I've lost everything I've had
But I'm not dead, at least not yet
Still alone, still alive, Still UNBROKEN
I'm still alone, still alive,
I'M STILL UNBROKEN
Never captured, never tamed
Wild horses on the plains
You can call me lost - I call it FREEDOM
I feel the spirit in my soul
It's something Lord I can't control
I'M NEVER GIVIN UP WHILE I'M STILL BREATHIN!
I'm not home, I'm not lost
Still holdin' on to what I got
Ain't much left
Lord there's so much that's been stolen
I guess I've lost everything I've had
I'm not dead, at least not yet
Still alone, still alive, Still UNBROKEN
I'm still alone, still alive,
STILL UNBROKEN
I'm still unbroken
Still Unbroken
Like the wind, like the rain
It's all runnin through my veins
Like a river pouring down into the ocean
I'm out here on the streets
But I'm standing on my feet
Still alive, still alone, still unbroken
I'm not home, I'm not lost
Still holdin' on to what I got
Ain't much left
Lord there's so much that's been STOLEN
Guess I've lost everything I've had
But I'm not dead, at least not yet
Still alive, still alone, Still Unbroken
I'm still alone, still alive,
I'M STILL UNBROKEN
I'M STILL ALONE!
STILL ALIVE!
STILL UNBROKEN!
I'M STILL UNBROKEN!
I ain't never going down!
I'M STILL UNBROKEN!
Oooooooh-Ooooooh!
* Still Unbroken * ~ song lyrics by Lynard Skynyrd
This is the incredible view from the little town of Ronda in Spain. This image is a stitch of 10 different shots to show the whole viewpoint.
This pool is situated in nagalapuram hill ranges. This was taken on one of our trekking to this place with 100 ladies. This was very crowded and as soon as I saw this pool, I imagines this shot. I patiently waited for all people to move from this place and I moved last after taking few shots of this. This is heavenly pool with all green around ... the nature mesmerizes me.
Some little "sunbursts" help brighten up, more or less, a dull day! Thinking about the challenge I also kept humming that Bryan Adams song "Heaven" ...
And love is all that I need
And I found it there in your heart
It isn't too hard to see
We're in heaven
Our Daily Challenge ~ Heavenly ....
Thanks to everyone who views this photo, adds a note, leaves a comment and of course BIG thanks to anyone who chooses to favourite my photo .... thanks to you all.

[Heavenly Grapefruit]
Grapefruit : Jupiter of the citrus world,
A perfect sphere, so graceful, good.
An equatorial slice, a sudden gush
Of fragrant oil, and spray of acid juice.
Insert serrated knife with surgeon’s skill,
With each incision separate segments.
So fresh and free, they swim in cereal bowl
Where early sunlight sparkles on the surface.
The first spoonful of Californian sunshine
Assaults the taste-buds – juices flow - pure heaven.
