The UK's premier charity event with a heart of gold. #MWBall19
The 2019 Annual M&W Charity Ball marks the third time that the two families have come together for an event in aid of a worthy cause. Having supported each others fundraising events for over 30 years and following the huge success of their collaborative Charity Balls in 2017 & 2018, the families have continued this year with an event to increase awareness and raise funds for UK Sepsis Trust & MIND Birmingham.

Mao's portrait looks out across Tiananmen Square. This is the same gate that Mao stood upon at the founding of the Peoples Repulic of China on Oct of 1949 and declared that "Today the Chinese people have stood up". This is the same gate from which he first raised the red flag over China. And from this view, you can look at his mausoleum where his body is still interned and Chinese still queue to view it. And from this view you can see the square of Heavenly Peace where in 1989 students raised the hand of liberty and tanks crushed the dream of democracy.
Buddhist Temple of the Heavenly Queen on the banks of Maribrynong River, Footscray. The Queen is facing south and I think she is keeping an eye on Coode Island.
Twas a dream of a God,
And the mould of his hand,
That you shook 'neath his Stroke,
That you trembled and broke.
To this beautiful land.
Here He loosed from His hold,
A brown tumult of wings,
Till the wind on the sea,
Bore the strange melody.
Of an island that sings.
He made you all fear,
You in purple and gold,
You in silver and green,
Till no eye that has seen,
Without love can behold.
I have left you behind,
In the path of the past,
With the white breath of flowers,
With the best of God's hours,
I have left you at last.

The astronomical observatory of Chichen Itza was used by the Maya to observe heavenly bodies. The position of doors and windows was calculated such that they were aligned with the bodies that were important to the Maya, such as the sun, the moon or the planet Venus.
New custom girl for adoption! *sold*
This girl is originally a Primadolly Ashlette. The work I've done on her:
- New rerooted coolcat scalp, with gorgeous light blonde mohair, done by lock loop method and permed into sweet little curls.
- Sanded faceplates
- Carved mouth (open lips!), nose, philtrum and inner eyeholes
- Pastel face up, including little freckles around the nose
- Four new eyechips (milky blue, heavenly blue, warm brown and light grey)
- New lashes
- Painted eyelids with little clouds
- Boggled eyes, slight gaze correction
- Sleepy eyes, one pullring is painted in the colour of the eyelids, the other is made of a cute feather charm
The little birdie will travel with her, since they belong together!!

Taken with my friend's Lumix (Panasonic?). It has it's problems, but it sure gives a silky-smooth macro, doesn't it?
Picture of St. Patricks Catherdral in NYC. I know this picture is going to drive DugJax crazy and that is why part of me wanted to place it on Flickr. Sorry Doug the lines arent perfectly straight. The only way to fix it was to take too much away from the slide columns which really made me miss the height :) It may not be perfect but I still think its heavenly!!
