All the tiredness was gone after seeing this view!!! After a trek of 8 KM and climb of 1000 meters......this view was simply majestic and heavenly....God lives here!!!

Wagon Wheel integrated this parlor, which moreless reflects their 69 period, instead of our 1935 Beerntesens! A busy card, carpet and capture, &, am wondering for detail. In addition to these two airplanes, in the hanger next to us there was a DC-3 used for air tours.
There were times at night when we'd be working on the B-17, with the Mitchell off to the side, the sound of the DC-3 engines running next door, and the music keeping us company a tape medley of 1940s Big Band music...it was difficult to remember what decade we were really in.

60 miles southeast of Bloomfield, New Mexico. This is where Changing Woman received her puberty, gave birth to her warrior twins, and lived in the first hogan. It is considered to be the "lungs" of Navajo country.

We see the parishioners on a march. The march was filmed on Battlefield road and Grange road.
The Victoria infirmary on Grange road is in the process of being demolished.

The green light chase is one of the most famous scenes from the film where Vic, played by Tom Conti tries to prove to Helen Mirren's character (Ruth Chancellor) that he is capable of performing miracles. To do this he pushes down the accelerator pedal of her car and one by one the traffic lights turn green at each junction as they get to them.
They travel down Renfield street and cross each junction until they reach the junction of Gordon street.
The school building in the film was the Queens park Secondary school on Grange road. Famous for being the school of Stan Laurel. The School closed in the 80's and then burned down in the mid 90's which explains why I was unable to get any interior shots of the school.

The ski runs are Heavenly Ski Resort are already covered with a blanket of snow after the first snowstorm, and the resort is manufacturing snow to ensure an early opening this year. I think they normally take the rental boats out of the water - perhaps the early storm took them by surprise.

Whenever I see this, I half expect to see Charlton Heston come walking across the water in a flowing robe and great beard, much like one of those 1950s Biblical epics he starred in. :-)
Though it looks like the sun is shining through the clouds on nearby mountain peaks, in fact the "peaks" at the horizon is a dense layer of coastal fog that's sitting a little ways offshore.

American Airpower Heritage Museum
"Heavenly Cargo" was acquired by the then-Confederate Air Force in 1981. Departing from the 2004 Fina/CAF Airsho, she was caught by a quartering tail wind, directional control was lost and the aircraft departed the runway coming to rest just west of the runway. The five people on board escaped the resulting fire without injury; however, "Heavenly Cargo" was destroyed.
The extended nose on this aircraft is due conversion in 1961 to a Howard 250.
