The ski runs are Heavenly Ski Resort are already covered with a blanket of snow after the first snowstorm, and the resort is manufacturing snow to ensure an early opening this year. I think they normally take the rental boats out of the water - perhaps the early storm took them by surprise.

* One sweet Love * ~ song lyrics by Sara Bareilles
www.youtube.com/watch?v=_C55DeU568A
Just about the time the shadows call
I undress my mind and dare you to follow
Paint a portrait of my mystery
Only close my eyes and you are here with me
A nameless face to think I see
To sit and watch the waves with me till they're gone
A heart I'd swear I'd recognize is made out of
My own devices....
Could I be wrong?
The time that I've taken
I pray is not wasted
Have I already tasted my piece of one sweet love?
Sleepless nights you creep inside of me
Paint your shadows on the breath that we share
You take more than just my sanity
You take my reason not to care.
No ordinary wings I'll need
The sky itself will carry me back to you
The things I dream that I can do I'll open up
The moon for you
Just come down soon
The time that I've taken
I pray is not wasted
Have I already tasted my piece of one sweet love?
Ready and waiting for a heart worth the breaking
But I'd settle for an honest mistake in the name of
One sweet love.
Savor the sorrow to soften the pain sip on
The southern rain
As I do, I don't look don't touch don't do anything
But hope that there is a you.
The earth that is the space between,
I'd banish it from under me...to get to you.
Your unexpected love provides my solitary's
Suicide...oh I wish I knew
The time that I've taken
I pray is not wasted
Have I already tasted my piece of one sweet love?
Ready and waiting for a heart worth the breaking
But I'd settle for an honest mistake in the name of
One sweet love.
I can't sleep at nite
Staring at the phone
Knowing you are not alone
She is right there by your side
I'm trying just to hide
All the things I feel inside
I can sense the chemistry
When you are standing close to me
I feel like a ship that's lost at sea
It's getting harder to ignore
It's not like anything before
I know it's carzy baby but I want more
I wish i could be close to you
And feel your every move
Neva meant to feel this way
Maybe you would come around one day
I wish i could be close to you
To feel your every touch
Becoz the sky won't heal the way I feel
Heaven knows I've wanted it so much
(Wanted it so much)
(wanted it so much)
I am the one to blame
Trying to explain
But I will cause myself such pain
Your heart not your heart
I trying to turn the time
But time is never on my side
I can sense the chemistry
When your standing close to me
I feel like a ship that's lost at sea
It's getting harder to ignore
It's not like anything before
I know it's carzy baby but I want more
(I wish that I could be so close to you)
I wish that I could be close to you
And feel your every move
Neva meant to feel this way
Maybe you would come around one day
I wish I could be close to you
To feel you every touch
Becoz the sky won't heal the way i feel
Heaven knows I've wanted it so much

Christ’s Resurrection Church in Kaunas, Lithuania
The construction of this monumental church above the Kaunas city started in 1934. During the WWII it was used by Nazi as a storeroom, later in time of Soviet occupation it was transformed into radio factory “Banga”. After the national awakening in 1988 the reconstruction work supported by both private and governmental sources started and after several interruptions the church was finally finished and consecrated in 2004.
In fact, all the lines are strictly vertical. Here the distortion is result of not fully tight film.
These photos, Heavenly sky 1 through 16, were all taken in the same afternoon. It was indeed a "heavenly" show. All fifteen photos are farmland in southeastern Michigan between Ann Arbor and Jackson.

"Heavenly Cargo" was acquired by the then-Confederate Air Force in 1981. Departing from the 2004 Fina/CAF Airsho, she was caught by a quartering tail wind, directional control was lost and the aircraft departed the runway coming to rest just west of the runway. The five people on board escaped the resulting fire without injury; however, "Heavenly Cargo" was destroyed.
The extended nose on this aircraft is due conversion in 1961 to a Howard 250.

We have five lanes (one more than we expected) and can run all at the same time. Opens tomorrow.
A brief respite from the Cherry Blossoms for last evening's Moon and Venus pairing. Jupiter was a little too far out of the frame to include it in the shot.

Keep on working like that
Only your goal kime
All of your past tobase
Show you was be tweaked
[Ohh..] In spite my black and white [Ohh yeah]
[It's like ohh] Hikari to yami ga south and north like [..take me away]
They *** got *** upon me
Everything you see on this primitive world [see primitive world]
Susumeru you ni
Sakete tsudzuketeru my soul
We got our "purple" like that
My time is still going on
Repeat [Chorus #1] and [Chorus #2]
Literal translation:
now i see this way
it's looks like purple line
gotta introduce myself
(I) can't move even an inch
(My) body captivated by fears
there's a time when I'm being frozen
really wanna touch myself
even though I wish for miracles
(those) miracles won't come true if I don't have strong heart*
right now
p/s: * "heart" here may means the belief or will to achieve your goals/aims
purple line let me set up my world
the path that nobody ever walked this way
while embracing my dreams*, i'm searching for my way
to live my on way My progression
holding this strong inclination
(here it begins) i will (solve)
the passion of Purple Line
p/s: *"dreams" here may means the strong will or desire to achieve something
when I decide to start it again*
my heart went under control*
but i won't run away
p/s: * "start it again" here may means to start all the things from the beginning ; "my heart went under control" may means he/she still has a doubt on the things she had decides, being in unclear situation whether to go on with his/her "new" decision or just continuing the one he/she already has before.
If this is the way to lead me become a man*
Then I'm going for it in order to get over it
Right now
p/s: i used *man here instead of direct translation "mature person/growth person".
purple line let me set up my world
the path that nobody ever walked this way
while embracing my wishes/hopes, i'm looking for my future
wishes/hopes filled My progression
(so that) I never give up I will (solve)
the truth of Purple Line
the moments at this time
I let them tick away in my heart*
I draw a time like a story*
l put (back) the higher value of (my) today than yesterday
by imagining* of i'm accomplishing (my aims)
p/s:* "imagine" here doesn't mean "dream", but to "set" in (your) mind the path to your success.
p/s: *"i let them tick away in my heart" means he/she precious the time he/she has now, for he/she might had waste it in the past; "i draw a time like a story" (forgive my weak English here!) here means he/she's planning what he/she wants to do from now on.
Yo! Check it!
This kind of thought that seems to fade away
We must be lovin' our way
We have to move forward
Let me be strong
(On) My subjectives That you do
Keep on working like that
Decides only your goal
Throw away all of your(our) past
Show you was be tweaked
[Ohh..] In spite my black and white [Ohh yeah]
[It's like ohh] Light and shadow.. south and north like [..take me away]
They *** got *** upon me
Everything you see on this primitive world [see primitive world]
For the sake for me to go on
(Once) I keep away from it then I continue my soul
We got our "purple" like that
My time is still going on
Repeat [Chorus]

"I walk in and out of many worlds." ~ Joy Harjo, CREEK/CHEROKEE
In my mind are many dwellings. Each of the dwellings we create ourselves - the house of anger, the house of despair, the house of self pity, the house of indifference, the house of negative, the house of positive, the house of hope, the house of joy, the house of peace, the house of enthusiasm, the house of cooperation, the house of giving. Each of these houses we visit each day. We can stay in any house for as long as we want. We can leave these mental houses any time we wish. We create the dwelling, we stay in the dwelling, we leave the dwelling whenever we wish. We can create new rooms, new houses. Whenever we enter these dwellings, this becomes our world until we leave for another. What world will we live in today?
* How Many Worlds * ~ song lyrics by Brian Eno
www.youtube.com/watch?v=VDzTKojybU4
Thinking of a world and the light of the sun
And all the many lives that were ever begun,
Ever begun.
Our little world turning in the blue
As each day goes there's another one new,
Another one new.
How many people will we feed today,
How many lips will we kiss today,
If we wake up?
How many worlds will we ever see,
And how people can we ever be,
If we wake up?
Thinking of a world in the light of the sun
And all the many lives that were ever begun,
Ever begun.

"The greater the faith, the
greater the result." ~Fools Crow, LAKOTA
The Creator designed us to act on faith. We are able to do this by holding firm to our beliefs.
If we believe something and if we don't want the belief to change, we
need to add the power of the Great Spirit to this belief. We must always
have the spiritual added to our beliefs. If we don't add the Spirit,
then we may very well change our minds during the first time we are
tested. Each time we are tested and we don't change our minds, we get
stronger. The wind may blow on the red willow trees bending them and
causing the roots to grow deeper. The more the wind bends the tree, the
bigger, stronger and deeper the roots grow. We should be happy that we
are tested. It's the Creator's way of making us have greater faith for
greater results.
Great Mystery, Grandfather, I know if I am tested today that I can count
on You to give me the courage to get to the other side. On the other
side of every test is the reward of strength. Make me strong.

They didn't just fill in the old Winchell's sign, they adopted the shape as their own. Looks pretty good!

We'll do it all
Everything
On our own
We don't need
Anything
Or anyone
If I lay here
If I just lay here
Would you lie with me and just forget the world?
I don't quite know
How to say
How I feel
Those three words
I said too much
They're not enough
If I lay here
If I just lay here
Would you lie with me and just forget the world?
Forget what we're told
Before we get too old
Show me a garden that's bursting into life
Let's waste time
Chasing cars
Around our heads
I need your grace
To remind me
To find my own
If I lay here
If I just lay here
Would you lie with me and just forget the world?
Forget what we're told
Before we get too old
Show me a garden that's bursting into life
All that I am
All that I ever was
Is here in your perfect eyes, they're all I can see
I don't know where
Confused about how as well
Just know that these things will never change for us at all
If I lay here
If I just lay here
Would you lie with me and just forget the world
the first lensjockeys I met were at the racetracks of New York City.
Bud's seen everything, and Jessie Holmes is, well, I called her an angel after I chimped this shot, and I can't think of anything to say about her in this picture, but that.
Found a christian church in Fuzhou today, really suprised me! Despite religion being banned throughout China during the revolution, the congreation were all over 50, which means they all had to live in denial through those years...
No photoshop to get the old style effect here, I tried a little experiment during exposure to give this effect. I think it gives the heavenly religious effect quite well, tell me what you think?!
The title scene and the first location took a bit of finding.
The premise of the scene is the priest visiting the Vatican in Rome but in reality this is a branch of the Clydesdale bank on St Vincent place, Glasgow.
Detail of the triple lancet window in the north transept with glass on the theme of the Heavenly City, designed and made by Patrick Martin and installed in 1992.
St James's church at Longdon stands one the south eastern fringe of the village, hidden away from the road behind a lushly wooded churchyard and somewhat overshadowed on approach by tall trees. Behind them a handsome red sandstone edifice is revealed with a tall 15th century west tower, 14th century chancel and a late medieval south transept/chapel (built by John Stoneywell, Abbot of Pershore). On the other side of the church a much larger north transept grows like an over-sized limb from the north side having been added in 1870. However despite all these later additions a substantial part of the 12th century Norman church still remains, which is much more apparent within.
The south doorway (itself Norman) brings the visitor into the nave where the focal point of the interior is the fine Romanesque chancel arch, a fine example of Norman carving with its distinctive chevron moldings. The church is surprisingly light and spacious, due in part to the eastern walls of the nave having been cut away for the south chapel and north transept (a handsome early 16th century arcade to the former, a slightly disconcerting yawning gap marking the latter!). The chancel beyond is dark and mysterious, largely due to the Victorian glass in its windows though some substantial fragments of original 14th century glass remain in the windows flanking the altar. At the west end is an intriguing font, with a Norman tub resting on a 13th century foliate capital (reputed to have come from Lichfield). There is further notable glass at the west end by Camm's and a striking more recent work in the transept.
Longdon church was happily open and welcoming when I called and is a joy to explore, an unusual church with much of interest to reward the visitor.
