**chasing cars** ~ snow patrol

www.youtube.com/watch?v=GemKqzILV4w

We'll do it all

Everything

On our own

We don't need

Anything

Or anyone

If I lay here

If I just lay here

Would you lie with me and just forget the world?

I don't quite know

How to say

How I feel

Those three words

I said too much

They're not enough

If I lay here

If I just lay here

Would you lie with me and just forget the world?

Forget what we're told

Before we get too old

Show me a garden that's bursting into life

Let's waste time

Chasing cars

Around our heads

I need your grace

To remind me

To find my own

If I lay here

If I just lay here

Would you lie with me and just forget the world?

Forget what we're told

Before we get too old

Show me a garden that's bursting into life

All that I am

All that I ever was

Is here in your perfect eyes, they're all I can see

I don't know where

Confused about how as well

Just know that these things will never change for us at all

If I lay here

If I just lay here

Would you lie with me and just forget the world

Interesting technique of gathering hay in Romania

The title scene and the first location took a bit of finding.

The premise of the scene is the priest visiting the Vatican in Rome but in reality this is a branch of the Clydesdale bank on St Vincent place, Glasgow.

Detail of the triple lancet window in the north transept with glass on the theme of the Heavenly City, designed and made by Patrick Martin and installed in 1992.

St James's church at Longdon stands one the south eastern fringe of the village, hidden away from the road behind a lushly wooded churchyard and somewhat overshadowed on approach by tall trees. Behind them a handsome red sandstone edifice is revealed with a tall 15th century west tower, 14th century chancel and a late medieval south transept/chapel (built by John Stoneywell, Abbot of Pershore). On the other side of the church a much larger north transept grows like an over-sized limb from the north side having been added in 1870. However despite all these later additions a substantial part of the 12th century Norman church still remains, which is much more apparent within.

The south doorway (itself Norman) brings the visitor into the nave where the focal point of the interior is the fine Romanesque chancel arch, a fine example of Norman carving with its distinctive chevron moldings. The church is surprisingly light and spacious, due in part to the eastern walls of the nave having been cut away for the south chapel and north transept (a handsome early 16th century arcade to the former, a slightly disconcerting yawning gap marking the latter!). The chancel beyond is dark and mysterious, largely due to the Victorian glass in its windows though some substantial fragments of original 14th century glass remain in the windows flanking the altar. At the west end is an intriguing font, with a Norman tub resting on a 13th century foliate capital (reputed to have come from Lichfield). There is further notable glass at the west end by Camm's and a striking more recent work in the transept.

Longdon church was happily open and welcoming when I called and is a joy to explore, an unusual church with much of interest to reward the visitor.

He is a real genius!! Love his work!!

Never really said too much

Afraid it wouldn’t be enough

Just try to keep my spirits up

When there’s no point in grieving

Doesn’t matter anyway

Words could never make me stay

Words will never take my place

When you know I’m leaving

Try to leave a light on when I’m gone

Something I rely on to get home

One I can feel at night

A naked light, a fire to keep me warm

Try to leave a light on when I’m gone

Even in the daylight, shine on

And when it’s late at night you can look inside

You won’t feel so alone

You know we’ve been down that road

What seems a thousand times before

My back to a closing door and my eyes to the seasons

That roll out underneath my heels

And you don’t know how bad it feels

To leave the only one that I have ever believed in

Try to leave a light on when I’m gone

Something I rely on to get home

One I can feel at night

A naked light, a fire to keep me warm

Try to leave a light on when I’m gone

Even in the daylight, shine on

And when it’s late at night you can look inside

You won’t feel so alone

Sometimes it feels like we’ve run out of luck

When the signal keeps on breaking up

When the wires cross in my brain

You’ll start my heart again

When I come along

Try to leave a light on when I’m gone

Something I rely on to get home

One I can feel at night

A naked light, a fire to keep me warm

Try to leave a light on when I’m gone

Even in the daylight, shine on

And when it’s late at night you can look inside

You won’t feel so alone.

Try to leave a light on when I’m gone

Something I rely on to get home

One I can feel at night

A naked light, a fire to keep me warm

Try to leave a light on when I’m gone

Even in the daylight, shine on

And when it’s late at night you can look inside

You won’t feel so alone.

I thought the ducklings ate all the seedlings for my Heavenly Blue morning glories but this week, out of the blue (no pun intended) they sprang up in front of my house, even though I planted them in the back! Some have hot pink streaks through them, no doubt mixed with my Scarlett O'Hara morning glories that bloomed earlier this past summer.

magazine clippings, glitter glue, and an orange-y jewel.

134seconds, F8, ISO400, 18mm

On the same night as the "another night" photo i took this one. I thought the stars would have a longer trail and the trees would be brighter, but it was too cold (-18 celcius ) and i was freezing despite of having 4 layers of clothing. My fingers were a bit chilly. So i have only this one shot, but i would say it's good enough

These photos, Heavenly sky 1 through 16, were all taken in the same afternoon. It was indeed a "heavenly" show. All fifteen photos are farmland in southeastern Michigan between Ann Arbor and Jackson.

Mary, did you know

that your Baby Boy would one day walk on water?

Mary, did you know

that your Baby Boy would save our sons and daughters?

Did you know

that your Baby Boy has come to make you new?

This Child that you delivered will soon deliver you.

Mary, did you know

that your Baby Boy will give sight to a blind man?

Mary, did you know

that your Baby Boy will calm the storm with His hand?

Did you know

that your Baby Boy has walked where angels trod?

When you kiss your little Baby you kissed the face of God?

Oh, Mary did you know..

Ooo Ooo Ooo

The blind will see.

The deaf will hear.

The dead will live again.

The lame will leap.

The dumb will speak

The praises of The Lamb.

Mary, did you know

that your Baby Boy is Lord of all creation?

Mary, did you know

that your Baby Boy will one day rule the nations?

Did you know

that your Baby Boy is heaven's perfect Lamb?

The sleeping Child you're holding is the great I Am.

"I am building myself. There are many roots. I plant, I pick, I prune. I consume." --Wendy Rose, HOPI/MIWOK

The most sacred thing on this Mother Earth is life. My life on this earth is governed by God's laws, principles and spiritual values. These things are my roots. Let me see Your gifts of growing and

becoming a spiritual warrior. Make my strength based on values -

spiritual values; on principles and laws, the laws of God that really

run the universe. We need to realize the seeds we plant in the spring

will be what shows up in our summer season of growth and will be the fruits that we will harvest in our fall season. We really have a lot to

do with what shows up in our lives. Great Spirit, let my seed that I plant today be based on values that will make You pleased with my selection.

“There is in every true woman's heart, a spark of heavenly fire, which lies dormant in the broad daylight of prosperity, but which kindles up and beams and blazes in the dark hour of adversity.”

Great jumps and hits at Heavenly Resort Lake Tahoe!

First time it happened in my (not-so-long photography) life ... the moment I spotted her laying on the grass resting, I "saw" the photo in my mind: I knew exactly what I had to do and how to do it. Unbelievable.

Without any doubts, my Most Beautiful Photo ...

Many thanks to the gorgeous young lady to pose for me.

p.s.: I know that it does not make sense to see vertical grass :) but I have decided to post this rotated version because I cannot decide which version is the best, this one or the original.

"The story of love is not important ~ what is important is that one is capable of love.

It is perhaps the only glimpse we are permitted of eternity."

~ Helen Hayes

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Verse 1
Now Hollywood wants to make you think they know what love is. But I'm a tell you what true love is. Love is not what you see in the movies. Its not the ecstasy, its not what you see in that scene, you know what I mean? I'm telling you right now, true love is sacrifice. Love is thinking about others before you think about yourself, love is selfless not selfish. Love is God and God is love. Love is when you lay down your life for another, whether for your brother, your mother, your father or your sister, its even laying down your life for your enemies, that's unthinkable, but think about that. Love is true. Think.
I'll put you in front of me
So everybody can see
My love, this is my love
I know that I'll be alright
As long as you are my guide
My love, this is my love
Verse 2
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, it always perseveres.
Love never fails. Love is everlasting, its eternal, it goes on and on, it goes beyond time, love is the only thing that will last when you die, but ask the question why? Do you have love?
I'll put you in front of me
So everybody can see
My love, this is my love
I know that I'll be alright
As long as you are my guide
My love, this is my love
Verse 3
There is no greater love than this than he who lays down his life for his friends. Now are you willing to lay down your life for your friends? You're probably willing to lay down your life for your mother, your father, or your best friends, but are you willing to lay down your life for even those that hate you? I'm going to tell you who did that, the definition of love is Jesus Christ. He is love. The nails in his hands, the thorns in his brow, hanging on a cross for your sin my sins, that is LOVE he died for you and me while we still hated him, that is love. God is true love, and if you don't know this love, now is the time to know, perfect love.
I'll put you in front of me
So everybody can see
My love, this is my love
I know that I'll be alright
As long as you are my guide
My love, this is my love
The Heavenly Paradise like no other
The green light chase is one of the most famous scenes from the film where Vic, played by Tom Conti tries to prove to Helen Mirren's character (Ruth Chancellor) that he is capable of performing miracles. To do this he pushes down the accelerator pedal of her car and one by one the traffic lights turn green at each junction as they get to them.
They travel down Renfield street and cross each junction until they reach the junction of Gordon street.
