First shot of the roll. This one is technically terrible, but I like the composition of the (under... double? -exposed) result.
The Mysterious Blue Line makes its first appearance.
While in Russia recently, I picked up a ФЭД 5B (FED 5v) camera at a market in St Petersburg for $30. I had no idea if it worked or not (or, to be perfectly honest, how to operate a rangefinder camera... :) but I loaded a roll of cheap film into it, strapped it to the back of my motorbike and filled it up over the course of the trip. The results are interesting - there's mysterious light leaks that appear then suddenly vanish a few photos later, strange blue lines, and my ineptitude at operating the camera - underexposed shots, double exposures where I didn't wind the frame on properly... but some of the results are pretty cool. I think so, anyway ;)
Originally a photojournalist, Guy Tillim has spent a large part of his career documenting social conflict in Africa for media agencies including Reuters and Agence France-Presse.
Of his project Avenue Patrice Lumumba Tillim explains, “Modernist architecture was the hook on which I hung the project, but it is not about that architecture – it’s not a survey. Rather, these were the places that I had got to know while working as a photojournalist; I had always been struck by the bizarre stage that they provided.”

One guy jumped on it, on friday night. Little, did he knew, that under the cardboard there was some wood blocks, so he got deflected onto the floor. Later, he realized that it would be better to leave the place.
In the bottom of his heart, everyone keeps a memory that does not want to die.
It's the sound of footsteps, the sound of a voice, a name or a smile.
Everyone keeps in the bottom of his heart a star of happiness.
