Meet Graham. He is one of the cubs I photographed last year and he's growing into an impressive bear...albeit one with a bad attitude. His brother is Teddy who is the cub in my "Bearly Awake" Photo" Graham owes me for a new LensCoat Raincover, 500mm LensCoat Lens Cover and Tripod Wraps. I wonder if their warranty covers bear damage? After trying to eat my tripod, he pushed it over and tried to drag my 1DX, 500mm and Gitzo away. Bad Bear.

So...what should I title this image? I'd love to hear your thoughts smile emoticon

I do not share exact locations. Our wildlife should be protected and when locations are shared these animals are put at risk. Please do not ask. Any comments "outing" the locations will be deleted....

A pair of Cartier gold and carnelian cufflinks from the late 1980s. Camicissima cotton shirt used as background.

Composite shot made of 5 focus–stacked exposures, set manually on the lens. Stack processed with Helicon Focus, Method B.

Shot taken for my Macro Mondays group, “Pair” theme.

Strobist and technical: One Phottix Pro Indra500 monolight on a Profoto light stand in backlit Rembrandt position to camera left, 2.5 meters from subject and 1.3 meters above it, firing at ¼ power through a Phottix Pro 150–cm Raja Deep parabolic softbox with double diffuser; and another Indra500 studio strobe on a Profoto tabletop light stand in lateral (slightly backlit) position to camera right, 1.5 meters from subject and at about the same height, firing at 1/8 power through a Phottix Pro 110–cm Luna octabox with double diffuser. White card backdrop.

Strobes set and triggered via Phottix Pro Odin II radio controller on the Nikon Z7 hot shoe, manual mode. Sekonic L–858D light meter used to balance light sources. Gitzo GT3543 XLS tripod with Arca–Swiss Cube C1 geared head. Nikon Z7 camera body, Laowa 105mm f/2.8 2× Ultra Macro Apo lens, manual focus.
