Le 21 juin 2011, la BB 7429 descend un train complet de ballastières vers le sud par la rive droite du Rhône
En fin d'après midi, la BB 26183 vient de démarrer depuis quelques minutes de Cerbère avec une rame complète de citernes de la Transfesa. 4 juillet 2007.
Former MARC GP40WH-2 57, now lettered for PNLX, sits up against a cut of tanks next to the approach signal for COLA at "EY" on the NS Columbia Secondary. This locomotive would soon be taken outta town by 13G to Enola for a trip up the Buffalo Line on 12Z, but with a little imagination, the widecab geep against the cut of tank cars defintely looks neat.

P&W CT-1 heads north though the Reeds Gap rock cut on its way to Middletown, CT, once it reached middletown it would pick up GP38-2 number 2009 and head south to reeds, pick up four hoppers and proceed south to New Haven.

Four SD9s help an MEEUM at the west switch of Divide, Oregon siding on the Siskiyou Line. It sounded delightful.
EMDX 1607 & 1608 are the rear DPU's on a northbound coal empty from Pueblo as they roll through a very green Larkspur. These two units had been making the rounds testing on various railroads in the summer of 2017, and when BNSF's turn came they put them on the rear of this Comanche empty, which they cycled on between Pueblo and Wyoming for more than a month. Sadly BNSF decided against purchasing any.
EMDX 1607 & 1608 were slated to become UP 3008 & 3009 respectively (hence the yellow paint) before UP decided to buy regular old SD70AH's instead. I believe EMDX 1607 ended up at the TTCI center in Pueblo; 1608 may be there as well, couldn't find any good info as to its current whereabouts.
In the weekend of 23 and 24 January the Betuweroute was closed due engineeringwork in Germany. All the freight trains were diverted via the Brabantroute. A great oppertunity to spot the freighttrains at Hulten, a smaal village east of Breda. On this picture the 189 053 & 046 from DB Cargo are on there way to Rotterdam with an empty ironoretrain

New Haven Railroad K-1-b class 2-6-0 Mogul steam locomotive # 276 with a freight train is seen at New London, Connecticut, June 1935. this train may atually be a work train or a MOW train. You can see the engineer in the cab of the locomotive. This steam engine still has its slide valves. You could find these little steam engines all around the system and especially on the light rail branch lines.

It's train time at the secluded Rawhide crossing on UP's Roseville Subdivision. As the UP 2644, leading the ZLTG2, crawls up the stiff grade near Midas, the MOGRV coasts down the #1 track with a long manifest bound for Roseville. Never a dull moment on Donner.
