Union Pacific 1995 is the fifth in the railroad's "Heritage Series" of locomotives painted in honor of UP predecessor railroads. 1995 is painted in honor of Chicago and North Western Railway, which became a part of UP in 1995.

During my visit to Waycross, Georgia, an unknown northbound CSX Manifest pulls over the Ossie Davis Parkway (US-1) Road Crossing as they depart Rice Yard on Tuesday March 1st 2022. Captured here is the trio of Union Pacific locomotives (UP1988, UP1996, & UP1983) as they pull a 2 mile long train toward their destination of Los Angeles on July 14, 2009. This chase consisted of driving from San Diego to north of Las Vegas, hanging out in 111 degree weather, pariently waiting for the train, then chasing and capturing the train all the way to the Harvey House in Barstow, California. The 3056 passes restored Atlantic Coast Line Caboose #0600 which has been on display here at the Depot since 2019. While it wears the number 0600, it is in fact not the actual one. On Saturday July 2nd 2022 during my short Fort Lauderdale, Florida Railfanning Session, we catch CSX Train M45302 heading through the Fort Lauderdale Station on Track #2 on account of Local M74702 holding the #1 a little ways north of here. A little ways south of here 453 will diverge from Track #2 to Track #3 at Control Point Whalen. This will line him up to cross the New River Drawbridge. In the lead is GE ES44AH #765.
