Still pulling through a slow order, WAPO is seen approaching the Penney Road overpass on a beautiful fall morning behind CSX C40-8 9280. I'm sure GSP can relate, but this spot has become horribly overgrown in recent years, the only slight consolation being the nice burst of fall colors that it brings.

Another fun night for the crew of WAPO; not only is it snowing, but two of their five engines have already died less than ten miles out of Waterville. They're still moving along though, as they're about to roll by MP128 in Belgrade, with SD40-2M 613 leading the way, and about sixty cars trailing it.
A late running F16 rolls through the old log yard in Brownville, behind Canadian Pacific GP38-2 3100. A rather varied assortment of power compared to what the train usually runs with made it worth hanging around after getting out of work, especially with the large 101 car train, and 10k tons (it also helped I had moved those side dumps out of the way a few days prior).

A Union Pacific manifest freight train rolls downgrade out of Plain siding at Plainview, Colorado, on September 25, 1997. It may be a UP train, but there isn’t an Armour yellow locomotive to be seen. Battle-worn Southern Pacific EMD SD45R No. 7464 leads Rio Grande EMD SD40T-2 No. 5353 and a pair of far-from-home Conrail GE units as power for the eastbound train.

Die Captrain hat zwei Loks der Baureihe 248 im Fahrzeugpark. Einer dieser Loks, die 248 010 fuhr am 9. Mai 2022 mit einem Güterzug von Satzkorn nach Senftenberg und wurde, kurz nach der Abfahrt, in Bornim Grube fotografiert.

Am Abend des 12. August 2022 kam die 189 067 mit Güterzug 61300 aus Onnen durch Hooghalen (im Norden der Niederlande) gen de Kijfhoek gefahren.

DB engine 189 067 was headed for the Kijfhoek yard on August 12th 2022 with freight train 61300 from Onnen and was spotted near the town of Hooghalen.
Het dorpje Oberaudorf ligt in zuid-Bayern (vlak voor de Oostenrijkse grens) en is bekend voor het bekende klooster (Reisach).
Een aantal jaren geleden was het nog mogelijk om richting het noorden treinen te fotograferen, inmiddels staan hier geluidsschermen en is deze blik niet meer mogelijk.
Op 18 september 2008 ging het gelukkig nog en fotografeerde ik TX Logistics 185 512 die met ÖBB 1144 255 en een goederentrein naar Kufstein reed.
Aus der Zeit wo diese Perspektive noch möglich war und es noch keine Lärmschutzwände gab..
TX Logistics 185 512 war am 18. September 2008 mit ÖBB 1144 225 (kalt) und einem Güterzug unterwegs gen Kufstein und hat bei Oberaudorf das Ziel fast erreicht...

Geluk met de zon had ik op 6 maart 2021 toen ik de LTE 186 941 in Golm fotograferen wilde. Na meer dan een uur wachten, had de stralend blauwe lucht plaats gemaakt voor vele wolken en eigenlijk ging ik er al vanuit, dat het niets meer zou worden. Uiteindelijk lukte het toch en was ik meer dan verheugd met de opname. De trein reed door werkzaamheden dwars door Potsdam en Berlijn...
Ein wenig Glück hatte ich am 6. März als ich die LTE 186 941 - welche aufgrund von Bauarbeiten mit ihrem KLV Zug nach Poznan über Potsdam Hbf und Berlin Westhafen fuhr - bei Golm fotografierte. In der Stunde wo ich warten musste, hatte der strahlend blauer Himmel Platz gemacht für viel Wolken und ich hatte schon damit gerechnet, dass es nicht mehr klappt mit einem Sonnenbild.
Glücklicherweise passte es am Ende doch noch.. wie man sehen kann :-)
After having waited for over an hour (in which the beautiful blue skies had made way for a ton of clouds) I was ready to throw in the towel on March 6th 2021.
I wanted to make a sunny picture of LTE 186 941 which was headed for Poznan in Poland with a freight train and which was rerouted via Potsdam Hbf because of work being done on the Berlin outer ring. Unfortunately, the train was waiting roughly 10 kilometers from where I was standing for over an hour (during which the weather conditions changed).
In the end though, everything worked out and I was able to get the shot I wanted...
Die für LTE fahrende ES 64 F4 - 205 war am 15. Juli 2023 mit LTE 193 740 und einem Güterzug unterwegs gen Polen und konnte früh am Morgen bei Neugarten fotografiert werden.
Dispolok ES 64 F4-205 (rijdend voor de LTE) had op 15 juli 2023 naast de LTE 193 740 ook nog een goederentrein naar Polen aan de haak. Op de "Schnellfahrstrecke" te Neugarten kon ik de trein vanuit de lucht fotografieren.

In het eerste licht van de dag passeerde EP Cargo 383 064 met een ketelwagentrein richting het noord-oosten van Brandenburg op 26 juni 2020 te Nudow.
Die Sonne war noch nicht mal so lange auf, als am 26 Juni 2020 die EP Cargo 383 046 mit einem Kesselwagenzug durch Nudow gefahren kam..

With storm clouds rolling over the mountains of Jasper National Park, Canadian National train 513 passes Windy Point west of Devona, Alberta, on July 10, 2014. Originating at Hinton, the huge 11,000-foot “local” rumbles toward Jasper, and includes van No. 79923, along with some ballast cars up front. Powering the local is a pair of aging GMD’s—SD40u No. 6011 and SD40-2W No. 5246.
Aangezien LTE heel wat locomotieven in haar vloot heeft met speciale kleurstellingen, kun je het redelijk een domper noemen als nou net de van Akiem geleasde 186 355 voorbij komt. Echter heeft zo'n grijze Akiem 186'er ook zo z'n charmes dus als hij goed voor de zon voorbij komt met een leuke trein moet er zeker even afgedrukt worden. Uiteindelijk wil ik toch zoveel mogelijk verschillende kleurstellingen op de foto hebben, dus ook deze moest eens in mooie omstandigheden op de foto worden gezet.
In een warm februarizonnetje komt de LTE 186 355 stapvoets voorbij de Midden Peelweg in America gereden met aan de haak een kleurrijke Mannheim-Shuttle. Door een defect aan de loc kwam de trein enkele honderden meters tot stilstand waardoor ze een tijdje het treinverkeer richting Eindhoven ophield. Gelukkig kon ze na een klein kwartiertje weer vertrekken waardoor de vertraging weer snel af nam!

Eastbound CP trackage rights train NS 32T cruises under the old NYC signal bridge at CP 419. Signal bridge is now long gone.
A nicely timed sucker hole lights up the lead engine on New England Central's 611 turn to Palmer as they hammer through the fields in Vernon, VT. The trio of SD40 rebuilds have the fifty or so cars well under control as they do all of 40, heading south towards Massachusetts.
Op de zonnige 20 oktober ging TCS 101001 los van Amersfoort naar Bad Bentheim. Al snel werd duidelijk dat deze loc een graantrein voor Oss zou gaan overnemen in Bad Bentheim.
Na de locwissel in Bad Bentheim vertrok TCS 101001 met deze graantrein rond 16.15 uit Bad Bentheim naar Oss. Op de foto komt de trein langs onder de Duitse portalen bij Gildehaus.
