Arches and sea stacks at Tongaporutu, New Zealand.

On my third visit to Tongaporutu I was determined to reach the end of the beach where I found this double arch and more beautiful sea stacks.

A late fall shot with a little of color.

sent the vinyl to a friend as a gift, he framed it.

This was our best view of Sleeping Giant during our ten-day backpacking trip in 2019. We're on the Minong Trail between Todd Harbor and McCargoe Cove.

Nanabijou is the Anishinaabe deep water spirit, turned to stone here.

Sleeping Giant is a provincial park outside Thunder Bay, Ontario. Isle Royale National Park is part of Michigan, but is much closer to Thunder Bay and Minnesota's North Shore than to Michigan's Upper Peninsula.

Loved the framing of this image. I feel like it really captures her daily work life!

An early morning stroll into my local woods.

Black Skimmer attacking Forster's Tern chick.

The chick taking on the skimmer is slightly larger than it's sibling, a bit like big brother trying to protect it's sister from the bully when mom and dad are not around.

A different composure to normal. I really liked this walkway acting as a leading line into the image, the cut down tree stumps on the right looked nice just sat in the water, and I decided to frame the shot with the trees surrounding me.

Petticoat Lane Marker.

I wait for the clearest days,

when a layer between Us

seems removed.

…I've taken thousands of deer pictures and I'm always looking to find a different take on them. This is one but, a very grainy, low light through our window and being cropped out 80%. So...I used a glow & splattered brush stroke effect. It's funny how this mama deer thinks she's hidden from me, framed in the trees & limbs; while starring right at me from 40 yards away.

The Marina Bay sands being framed by the flora of the Flower Dome, Singapore.

The sun was so bright yesterday. I went under the trees and snapped this, love the way they framed the sky and clouds.

Porto walkabouts

The Milky Way, Southern Cross, and Pointers, framed by a ring of tree tops glowing from the flames of a fire pit.

...and ready to shoot
