Everyday life in India in Varanasi, children are picked up by boat to school, the laundry is washed, the dogs look for a shade

Views over Budapest framed from an archway at the top of Gellért Hill. Gellért Hill is a 235 metre high hill overlooking the Danube in Budapest, Hungary. It is located in the 1st and the 11th districts. The hill was named after Saint Gerard who was thrown to death from the hill.

Here is a blog I wrote about framing in photography

Before these crazy storms started obliterating our landscape, there remained a smattering of autumn colour in sheltered areas of woodland. This view shows a silver birch tree clinging on to its leaves in Bramcote Country Park on the outskirts of Nottingham.

It's been the coldest December here in many years and right now heavy snow is causing traffic chaos with avalanches and collisions.

Where is this global warming?

We don't experience any of it in this part of the world.

Framing Time very old windows cracking and peeling paint fit around some old glass, maybe a time portal or just full of peoples memories, shot in North Carolina.

I took advantage of the rare clear and bright skies recently to walk around the local lanes, making a few snapshots along the way.

I saw this male Northern cardinal from my desk and went to the window to capture the bird framed by the encircling autumn leaves of my Japanese maple 'bloodgood'.

The turn in to the driveway of "The Stable", the self-catering cottage we stayed in during our recent holiday in Herefordshire HTT! A bit of a dull day but I was quite pleased with this quick iPhone shot, the wires seemed to frame the trees. The place could do with better signage seeing as at least 6 properties on this rural lane were covered by the same postcode. We found it eventually!

Photo 49/100: my 100x photos this year will be of foliage, so woodland scenes, individual trees, wild/garden plants & fallen leaves 🍁🌿🍀🌳
