Shot from the Bullet Train on the way to Nagoya from Tokyo. You get some interesting pictures while flying down the tracks because by the time you shoot, the train has moved quite a distance. Or it goes into a tunnel.
Although there are three more to go in this series this may be my favourite of the bunch. Although I really liked my post from yesterday, the barn was way too small and way to weak to be thought of as a main subject. In this case, although the fencing of the players bench area at a local ball diamond is very prominent within the scene, I believe the fencing and foreground takes a supporting role, and the main subject is the tree in the foggy distance. At least that is how I saw and photographed it.
This shot was also taken with the Nikon 28mm f3.5 manual focus lens at f11.

The windows in our living room are one of the best parts of our home. This is just one of the small ones. But looking at it from this perspective, I am questioning why our pots are so far away. They should be much closer! And we haven’t yet planted any for this season. The ones that are blooming amazingly survived the snow and cold we had. ODC: frame it

This is the 3rd in a series of 4. Framed within; where each frame represents a way of life. Many people view others using reference points like the frames in this facade...a little of this frame, a little of another...as though life can be placed in a frame, made picture perfect, or by moving on to a next frame, start anew.
We organize our lives to the best of our abilities by placing ideas of ourselves and our world within boxes or frames. Or we freewheel, letting others place labels wherever they find appropriate and try to ignore the existence of frames. Outside are 2 tightropes for the few who are truly adventurous.

This was taken at Briton Ferry - an old industrial area which nature is slowly reclaiming. It is such a great place to explore and find beauty amongst the industrial past. This is the second in a set of images of framed sun taken there
