What to do with all these blocks I've made? With this one, I made my first flex-frame purse, the kind you squeeze and it pops open. Kinda sorta used the instructions in Suzuko Koseki's Patchwork Style but had to modify them because my frame was a different size.
BTW, see the loops the strap go through? They're on the flex-frame hinges. Not all flex-frames have them, but they're pretty handy.
Made the pieced block based on Ayumi's pattern and excellent tutorial on SewMamaSew:

Bringing the big ol' 2015 in with a bang and framing it :)
How was everyone's New Year? Mine was relatively quiet apart from the fireworks, which were loud and colourful. Such a nice way to bring in a new year!
This photo was taken in 2014, but that doesn't matter to me. It is however, the first image shown of the second clothing change from our Steampunk photoshoot. Phew, such an amazing time was had! :D

Paired tombs either side of the Lady Chapel in Exeter Cathedral. Look like they have been recently restored to something like their original polychrome appearance. Loved one framed the other in this image and the wealth of intricate detail.
I'm guessing canopy C15th but not currently with reference material to confirm that.

A framed view of the portuguese land from a window of the national palace of Pena. It was the royal palace of the portuguese kings. Who knows how many sunsets they watched?
Composite of three images.
One light setup. A Canon 580EX through octogonal softbox placed towards the right side of the camera for the main picture and for the one inside the bigger frame.
Two lights setup for the picture inside the smallest frame. A Canon 580EX through octogonal softbox placed towards the right side of the camera at 1/8th power and a Neewer flash bounced off of a white board placed towards the left of the camera at full power.
