This is a broken window of the Walker building which is actually one of the bigger buildings in the front part of the Central State Hospital complex located in Milledgeville, GA. The Walker Building was the Male Convalescent Building, built in the 1884. This building served as the admission ward for white males. For many of the thousands of patients that lived here, this was the building they called home for the better part of their adult lives.
Unfortunately due to a lack of funding this building has fallen deep into disrepair. Much of the 3rd floor roof has fallen in, many of the windows are broken out, and the entire building is starting to become overgrown with vines.

Insect Artifact Frames! Made using a variety of supplies.
A quick Halloween Idea! Last week at King of Prussia Mall, I saw a shadow box w/faux bugs in it as decor. $125 to $150 each. I made my version using a recycled frame, sheet of scrapbook paper and rubber/plastic critters, dab of hot glue. My price $2.25. You can create a high end version w/an ornate double sided glass shadow box w/critter, silk ribbon for under $10. Perfect for last minute Halloween crafting and parties! xoxo
Finalized frames for several females seen in the image - some adjustments still need to be made with the last two listed.

I got these pictures/frames at TJ Maxx for only $3.00 each. I'm addicted to prints and having them framed at craft stores costs a fortune! I don't have a mat cutter yet so I buy these frames on sale and just use whatever mat is included. Some of them have pictures or paintings included.. I just rip out the back and replace what is in there with my own stuff. Most of these picture/frame costs less than buying an empty frame in craft stores.
I like black or dark brown frames and antique finish too.
