I was very grateful that this wonderful framed constructure was near towards the house. Where it would get some shade from any strong contrasting sunlight above. That gave me, the best composition for framing and getting a great depth of view into this shot!

This is my favourite one for that day and I am very well pleased of the way it turned out.

Even though many photographers, as a rule, would rather have a person in the shot, even walking up or down to give the composition of framing.

But not for me this time, as I wanted to capture the beauty of the construction of this.

Also, if you zoom into the last frame, I managed to capture a couple walking on by!

So, it's easy to see why and can visualise, this gets used for the Wedding occasions they do from the house!

Especially when in Spring or Summer time, with full blooming out of flowers that surrounds all over it.

Which would make this the perfect setting and framing for any bride and groom shots.

This now raps up the end of this series, from Winterbourne House and Gardens, for this visit.

Les bâtiments du château flanquent la porte de la ville. Ils semblent dater du 16e siècle avec un décor peint fin 16e - début 17e siècle, et des portes de bois de la même époque. Le bâtiment de la porte proprement dite est flanqué, à l'est, d'un vaste édifice et, à l'ouest, d'un corps de bâtiment nord jouxtant un corps de bâtiment sud qui a une tourelle en échauguette à l'angle sud-est et une grosse tour carrée à l'angle sud-ouest. A l'intérieur, l'ensemble a conservé son caractère d'origine, dont la salle aux peintures murales au rez-de-chaussée de la grosse tour carrée. Ces peintures représentent, dans des cadres peints, les douze sibylles et les douze césars et, au-dessus, des paysages habités.

The castle buildings flank the city gate. They seem to date from the 16th century with painted decoration from the late 16th - early 17th century, and wooden doors from the same period. The actual gate building is flanked to the east by a large building and to the west by a north building adjoining a south building which has a watchtower at the corner. southeast and a large square tower at the southwest corner. Inside, the whole has retained its original character, including the room with murals on the ground floor of the large square tower. These paintings represent, in painted frames, the twelve sibyls and the twelve Caesars and, above, inhabited landscapes.
