This Olivenit(1mm) is coverd in a little cave of light, white base mineral. It was difficult to get enough contrast in there. The best option was to use only a 5x Mitutoyo on MFT Sensor und HR-Modus for stacking.
Dieser Olivenit (1mm) versteckt sich in einer hellen, weißen Höhle. Um möglichst viel Kontrast zu bekommen, habe ich nur ein 5x Mitutoyo verwendet und einen Stack aus HR Aufnahmen gemacht, aus dem ich dann einen Ausschnitt genommen habe.

Finding a robberfly in the field is always a pleasure. This medium sized specimen [ ID anyone? ] was photographed in May 2012.

These are exceptionally small flowers which grow in a clump of flowers. I cut one out and focus-stacked 40 images to make this image.
