Lamella from the lower side of a Marasmiellus sp. (Marasmiaceae, Basidiomycota). Found in Niaouli forest reserve (near Attogon, Benin, West Africa; 6 September 2022). In fungarium Parakou (UNIPAR), leg. A. De Kesel, in coll. Olou Boris (nr. OAB 1103).

The perfect specimen (Boletus edulis, Boletaceae, Boletales, Basidiomycota), with some tiny eggs on the cap. Found in a birch forest at Terhagen (Belgium, 23rd October 2019).

Un apilado extremo en campo con la olympus omd-em1, el m.zuiko 60mm 2.8 y la lente raynox dcr-250. Apilado usando la función bracketing con 100 disparos con diferencia de enfoque 1. Se uso también difusor fuerte para matizar la luz natural incidente en la parte alta de la cabeza y un reflector para dar un toque de luz a la escena.
La libélula esta viva, en su posadero. La magnificacion ronda los 2,5x

Apparently the surrounding vegetation has gotten taller and the Hedge Nettle seems less concentrated. Gradual changes! The ground is boggy so there is no access other than along the roadway where I was.

I enjoyed the Petals and Pixels exhibition at Tower Hill Botanical Garden yesterday, and I'm glad I had lots of space on my camera's memory card. A variety of orchids filled two large halls, and I clicked away. This is a 50-frame focus stack of a Happy Valentine orchid.
