Lassen was devastada by the Dixie fire of 2021 You can see the burnt trees in the background, and the some of the remaining trees in the foreground. Very lucky to see the wildflowers during my visit.

Used focus stacking on the OM1 to get both foreground and background in focus. I did it handheld, and you can see it couldn't align all the flowers in the foreground.

taken with my helios 44-m old lens on pb6 bellows, not the sharpest but crazy bursts and all sorts.

Als ich diesen Minipilz (Goldgelber Zitterling) fotografierte, fand ich vor dem Haus eine tote Wespe. Weil sie farblich so gut passte, habe ich sie zusammen fotografiert (Focusstacking)

When I photographed this mini fungus (golden yellow trembler), I found a dead wasp in front of the house. Because they matched so well in colour, I photographed them together (focusstacking).

Essai de focus stacking direct du boîtier à main levée mais avec l’appareil maintenu appuyé sur le mur. Dix prises empilées dans Photoshop. C’est d’ailleurs la seule chose que je sais faire dans ce logiciel car nous avons vu une démonstration récemment au club photo.

I tried focus stacking as my camera can do it. I chose 10 captures that were compiled in PS in post production. It’s about all I can do with PS by the way, having watched a demo at the photo club.

These are Proxabrush refills stuck into a styrofoam base. It reminded me of an aerial view of a forest in winter.

Done for Macro Mondays: "My Closest" theme

"The challenge will be to get as close as you possibly can and to include a visible indication of size by placing your subject on/by a ruler, grid or graph paper," according to the theme description.
