” Wodka & Wine Flatbread “

 

If you wonder about the name of this dish ? -

Last night at around 1.30am, after ”a bit” of wodka and wine, my friend Darryl “demanded” food. Here is what I could muster :

Freshly baked flatbread with salame, mascarpone, egg, mushroom, banana peppers, sriracha and grated asiago cheese.

It might not have been pretty but ist sure hit the spot

Light whole wheat & honey crust from Dan Lepard's recipe. Love the sunflower seeds crunch! I topped the flatbread with Monteray Jack cheese, onion braised beef brisket & jus, and lucinato kale.

After rolling out the dough and shaking off extra wheat the dough is thrown on the preheated dry skillet to the left and cooked on both sides.

I took this of the flatbread pizza that I got from the new Stone Flats that opened by my house. It was a B.B.Q chicken pizza.

New product from Stouffer's Corner Bistro line: "Shrimp and roasted garlic topped with a combination of mozzarella, parmesan and romano cheeses over a roasted garlic sauce"

Raw veggies with a tangy brine are used as an appetizer. Broken flatbread is scooped into the dijan mustard then used to scoop up the cachumber - like salsa - only with an east-Indian twist.

My Dad made pooris. So not health food but so delicious!
