The Flat Top Hill Conservation Area consists of 813 hectares purchased by the Department of Conservation in 1992, situated behind Butchers Dam.
Schist underlies most of Otago, and at Flat Top Hill the rock layers have remained horizontal and uplifted, forming flat topped ‘block’ mountains, or in this case, hills. This area is now the driest part of New Zealand, receiving less than 300 mm of rainfall annually due to its location in a rain shadow of the mountain ranges to the west and south.

One of the earlier landmarks to the city of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the Tunku Abd Rahman Flats or better known as Pekeliling Flats is to be demolished to make way for future developments.
I got a flat tire. :(

When I went on Holiday I got seriously bored on the plane, So I made up my own characters and of course they needed somewhere to live:

We looked it up and discovered it was the entryway to the mosque - MTO Shahmaghsoudi (Sufi order) 703-404-0901.
The trail winds its way from Chantry Flat, through Big Santa Anita Canyon past Sturtevant Falls and Sturtevant's Camp, then over Newcomb's Pass into the West Fork of the San Gabriel River. The trail meets the river at Devore Campground then follows the watercourse upstream to West Fork Campground.
To this point, the Gabrielino Trail has been tracing the Silver Moccasin Trail. It is across the stream from West Fork Campground that the Silver Moccasin Trail heads up Shortcut Canyon for the San Gabriel High Country. To continue on the Gabrielino Trail, travel west to the head of the West Fork at Red Box Saddle near Mount Wilson. This is the trail's highest point.
From Red Box, the Gabrielino continues westward down the Arroyo Seco through Commodore Switzer Trail Camp, Oakwilde and Gould Mesa Campgrounds, and emerges from The Arroyo at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory.

Built in late 60s or early 70s and designed by the City Architect to replace slums in the area. Many of the city flats are orientated north/south to maximise sunlight and keep shadows to a minimum. They are made with reinforced concrete and have granite rubble cast into the concrete to minimise staining from rain.
