I never really noticed how flat faced cats are. I guess I'm just used to ferrets and never had a cat.

First of two that day. Also the only day with significant rainfall. The other flat happened somewhere near Tillamook. Note for the future: ride the 3 Capes, not US 101, vertical gain be damned. Spent the night in a motel in Pacific City.
The cemetery contains many of the graves of the founding families of White Oak Flats / Gatlinburg such as the Ogles who built the first home here and the Reagan's and as you'll see by the headstones that some of the women's name have both names. The easiest access to the cemetery is to enter The Village and follow signs to the restrooms and once you reach that just follow the paved road to the right of the restrooms and within a few yards there you'll be.
A few weeks ago Christine and I took a day trip to the Bonneville Salt Flats to take some photos.
We took quite a few, so I've decided to upload these in two parts. Here is Part 1, later this week I will upload part 2.
One reason we made the trip to California was because our oldest daughter is the Captain of the Hard Knocks Houston travel team. They play flat track roller derby. I've no idea how my daughters turned out to do things like sing karaoke before they'd eat if they were hungry, play roller derby, never walk through an airport in any city without seeing someone they know, be directionally challenged, ....
